Lately the serial udaan has hardly been able to make it to top 10 for past several weeks..earlier it used to garner such good TRPs ie between 2.7-3 I guess..but now it hardly crosses 2..why is it that the show has started loosing viewership..is it due to the constant separation tracks of the main leads or have the viewers gotten bored of kn's antics or is it because of the unnecessary focus on side characters?..I want to know your views as the show hardly makes it to top 10 now 😕..what has gone wrong with the show?

I have many reasons to say for the trp decrease, I think this trp started to decrease when suraj lost his oldself😭started being dumb, next forcing vivaan and ragini as villains with whom CVS wanted to take it to another level but they could barely act, I used to feel so irritated seeing them🤪 sidelining KN was the biggest mistake they had ever done!

And main reason is tamrind occupying the screen 24/7😡poking her nose in sukor matters and hanging around them every now and then🤬

The confession was so dull as imvaan were shown more often rather I would say sukor were making a guest appearance in the episode spoiling imvaan intense scenes😕bachua track season 2 was the most horrible track CVS had ever introduced I almost lost my interest in udaan in last track, Thank God ajay was not a third wheel between sukor⭐️even trp increased to 2.3 when that crappy track was ended and kn was back,but no CVS didn't understand it and they started rooting for another separation track while we the viewers were expecting a happy remarriage track with elobrated rituals and positive promos with naughty romance 😳and what not😲so this is what they can expect from viewers if they try to test their patience!!

I was expecting the engagement to be a grand affair but what happened her highness baby shower ceremony which was unnecessary ended up to be a grand affair 🤢

It's high time CVS woke up and stop giving importance to tamrind and realise sukor are the leads and start remarriage preprations🤔

i dont know the exact reason

many of my classmates who watch udaan stopped watching it after bachuva 2 track .

Nd i think it is due to illogical tracks .

The Cvs have totally messed up udaan .

there is no value in relationship in udaan . (i think it is the main reason)

younger sister raising hand on elder sister whenever she wants.

yonger brother addressing elder brother as tum instead of aap or bhai.and it goes on i will get tired if i keep typing and am too lazy to do so .

Richa, speaking about my case..

I never watched any daily soap on TV because my mom doesn't watch, so i was never used to it..whatever daily soaps i've watched is in hostel because of my pals..But for the first time ever my mom started watching udaan because of the freshness in the script and when i started watching it after leap..she joined me..

When this bachuva track bombarded..she stopped watching it and never allowed me to watch too..I asked her the reason for which she said "I being a doc..after a hectic schedule would like to relax and I watch something entertaining instead of watching any crap that irritates me..The show doesn't seem promising anymore..so i stopped watching" This is the exact reason behind every TV watchers..me being an online watcher atleast have an option to skip..so we can watch it based on the olvs spoilers and also skip to sukor scenes and other entertaining elements..

According to me..this has been the reason..But i can never let go of my SuKor..😃

I think the loss of viewers started from the bandhua track, earlier Udaan was always ranked from 6th to 8th, the first time they were out of the top 10 was during that track. Even after the end of the track, Udaan never recovered the same trp numbers or stability.

People want happy tracks, the only time Udaan was slot leader after January was the week after confession when viewers expected romance and got baby drama.

The second wave of loss was in the baby track, Udaan never regained the viewers they lost during IPL because the track went on forever and was very negative and controversial with misleading promos. For example, there was a surge in viewers for the divorce week when the promo showed Chakor seeing Ragini's truth and it said will Chakor save her marriage? instead the divorce happened and they introduced Ajay, numbers didn't recover until the end of the track.

There is still hope, there was an increase of 0.3 trp points for the reconciliation, but CVs went for shocking twists and negative Friday precaps which lost them the viewers.

There is another general problem unrelated to Udaan, viewers generally have become less loyal and will switch from one show to another depending on track. Only the top 5 are the same from one week to another (this changed this week), the bottom 5 keep changing. Udaan was bound to suffer. Previously shows had to be above 2.3 to be in top 10, now 2 is usually enough to get you there.

In summary, number of loyal viewers have decreased and will never be back to the same level, but that isn't fatal to the show if CVs treat it wisely and start having a stable happy track before introducing a new twist.

I will blame writers for their inconsistency.

Cvs had an habit of stretching torturous tracks they did with both banduva and baby track 2

Banduva track had 2.8 trps at start and they dragged it too much and trps went down to 2.4.

They tried to make few changes after holi episodes and with much expectations introduced baby track 2 and

Sooraj's character was reduced too much.

I don't think too much of negativity will go smoothly with audience so ratings declined.

Still they dragged that track that could possible to them and bringing a new guy for Chakor is also not proved positive,audience already pissed with the track and misleading promos and they separated Sukor just after confession.

Again the track ended with Imli all around and bringing back KN into action was not successful like last time.

When KN reintroduced,Udaan reached in top 5 last year but this time he can't do the same magic.

The reason is audience have lost interest and expectations from cvs and Chakor and Sooraj were strong before banduva track and there was equal fights and counter attacks but nowadays cvs obsessed with Sukor separation only and Sukor only shown as helpless and obeying KN.

Now they are wasting good opportunity of wedding track to improve ratings and in coming sequence of camping too,we all know that it's not going to be smooth because KN humiliated and both couples will go outside like nothing happened and not realizing the threat of KN(if they shown like that)then how can we connected to them ?.

i am hardcore sukor lover , so still watch sukor scenes , waiting for few happy moments in their life like any other couple . my personal resons of watching only selected sukor scenes and avoiding certain scenes or certin characters are as follows .

1) car scene of suraj imli +so many touchy scene of suraj imli under the name of friendship ------> i found this more unethical and unrequired .

car scene suraj's lie is still under the carpet .

2) suraj not clearing his love or interest in imli .incomplete confession from suraj side wheras chakor made complete neat vivan closure .

3) unnecessary together screenspace of imvaan n sukor. i always like separate screenspace and separate story for imvaan n sukor

4)too much interference of imli in sukor .

5) when bachua track happened many people predicted it will end with clearance of suraj from 1st bachua . but it did not happen .

thus many things unanswered .

I think there's still time before the remarriage to give at least a partial closure to the disgusting track. There's still time to undo the damage done to some extent.The rafa-dafa technique obviously didn't work. I, for one, am still struggling to recover from it. Some of the viewers that left might actually come back then. Like you said Aisha, if the urban youth couldn't accept it, you can't expect small town India to at all. They should give us at least a proper lengthy Sukor heart to heart.

And the negativity in the story & constant separation should be cut down. If a show stresses you out instead of de-stressing you, naturally people are going to be less interested.
