Most of the time I watch a movie to know the story of it.

Mostly the story. I don't really have favs so I don't go to every film that has someone I am interested i seeing. Recommendation is another reason why I will see a film.

Both actors screen presences & content as well. For example, I was amazed by the Shivaay trailer because it was eye catching and I enjoyed this movie a lot. Ajay Devgan's screen presence was part of the reason.

Like I said, both of these two criteria's are important for me when watching a film. Even if it has my favourites like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Salman Khan & Aamir.

If the story interests me...example ww2 related/good thrillers

Or

If the film promises spectacular visuals...like say life of pi or jungle book
