What reason do people choose to watch a movie here? Dedicated fans would watch it no matter what, for others it may differ!!

Different reasons.

1. There are some movies I go to support like indies and female centric movies.

2. Mainstream movies dependent on if I like the trailer or I like the director or actor.

3. All SRK movies because I just like to see him on screen and Aamir movies now because I know it will be most likely worth my money.

My favorite actors and actresses, always try to watch their movies in the theater

Best directors according to me, I try to watch their movies in the theater too

Rest of them, I wait for TV premiere or Netflix

1. Interesting concept

2. Indian flavor...movies like Band Baja Baraat, Zor lagake haisha, Lootera

To just enjoy cinema!

I'll try to make points -

1) Enjoy the art of acting, direction, illusions, sounds, play of words, the vision of the man behind camera. A single room could be shown in many ways, in many different lights... it's just enjoyment of the view!

2) Can learn about lots of things in just 1.5 - 3 hours.. anywhere between the mere observation of body language to learning about the inner and outer world :) In general also, I love watching people.. In any movie, there will be a lot to take in.

3) It's an escape...

When I really like the trailer I watch the movie without fail and when I am neutral about trailer then I see director/writer like Anurag Kashyap's movies, I never miss. I dont trust actors much. I prefer to go by previous work of directors..

First and last to pass time. I watch even worst movies, if I have time in my hands.
If I have time and money, I watch anything in theaters. Does not matter whether my fab or actor i don't like.
