First of all , I need to apologize for my recent tardiness (Tadi-ness?😆) in replying to my threads. Actually work is heating up and i have just enough time during breaks to come to this happy place of mine, post and then jump off to my labwork and writing. I may lose my salarypaying job otherwise !! 😆
Will reply quickly to all the comments here and move on later to latest episode.. I think I'll join up the Shivika scenes from yesterday and today in one post later. (not here)

I personally love all the flashbacks. He has a vivid memory, I'm having fun watching all the convos replay in his head. I am looking forward to him remembering all the things he observed about her around the last 3 days, when she was upset, not just the events leading to the disaster.
Remember that scene where she spoke about upholding marriage vows, and how all the rasms in the world can't make a marriage if the vows are not held on to? That was not random. (Just like Om's bazaar side observation of ANnika's pareshaani) it will come back in context soon enough.
Notice how he keeps remembering those 2 hugs of theirs. First was when he was kidnapped , and she refused to believe Farzi and came to rescue him. She saved him, and he was so overwhelmed by her caring. Second was during Holi, that hug was another overwhelming emotion to him, because she took the time to make him feel special. Displays of deep affection.

Lovely to read your comment. Thanks for gracing my thread! You are one of the most consistent and prolific fanfiction writers of the forum. I envy your consistency.. *jealous* I still have people after me for my FF. It's either them or my boss !! 😆*gulp*
EXACTLY. My favourite scene was that exact same one. Where he made a casual statement about how well he knew her, and it drew blood, because it hurt her feelings that he didn't understand that HUGE thing, but speaks of small ones like these.
Her avoiding his eyes, hiding her tears, and him gently asking her to look up. Her quiet refusal was met with insistence. Such a tender painful moment, where he saw something like deep hurt in her eyes, her tears always undid him. SOmetimes I wonder if he'd rather see her cry out her hurt, or deal with her proud tadi.

That date kinda underlined how different they were to me. He was high class glamour and she was a beautiful mess. They both thought they were meeting half way , and were more than happy to let their differences slide. Felt hopeful for their relationship.😉

It is sad that SHivaay had to be prodded to believe something else may be reason to Annika's behaviour that day, She was hoping that when he promised to be her companion , her anchor, that he wouldn't have shaken and dropped her THAT easily. Though it admit, it was no less of an earthquake what she did that day.
Since her arrival back til now, he is remembering her nature. He has had to convince himself that he was wrong about her. I think that was the plan OmRu planned. Their faces when facing Shivaay's unbending anger at her, it showed that nothing but the whole truth will bring Shivaay around.
I like the way he watched his mother. The overconfident side when gossipping about Tej , went into thoughtful gulping silence when Annika's name is brought up. I wish I could have the whole story at once !! Argh..
@swash2
Annika is way closer than his family to him. She is his companion, his other half, part of him. So he will be more punishing to her, as he would to himself, if she were to make a mistake. There were A UNIT to him, not a dependant family member. Other people needed taking care of, but each other , they knew they could take care of themselves.
As much as it Irritates me , watching Ragini simper and act the damsel in distress with Shivaay, he treats her like a nuisance, an obligation. With Annika, he worries, but he knows she can handle herself. He asks but he doesn't press and force his way in to handle it for her. She is more independent than him even. Kind of respect for her independence.
@yellowmellow
I didn't like the date either. I was not excited over the fall catch. But i did like the appreciative look he gave her , she was beautiful, and she knew he thought so when he looked at her..😉
But then the eating happened and all the internal cribbing and eye rolling..😆 I even got distracted and saw GM thoughts as he watched her suck her fingers clean... needing to have water to dissolve the effect on his throat...☺️
But the point was they thought each other was meeting halfway. And both were more than willing to give it a chance, peace. But neither was going to accept blame. SO it collapsed. But fighting is the only way these two talk and communicate, i just wished more meaningful things were said other than, "You are not willing to understand, that's why this won't work."
Annika should stop evading already. She has lost her courage in winning her love back after Ragini came into the picture. Then why stay in the house at all. That I find weak in the storytelling. Reason for Annika to remain in the house and not do active intervention of getting her marriage back.
I don't think he redeemed himself with the forced marriage either. In fact, i little bit feel good that they are separated, because now that pall of the forced marriage is removed. Now if they marry again/ renew vows it is a fresh beginning. They are still engaged , these two.
