Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan becomes Vani’s dance partner, stays firm on sending her to boarding school

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Surekha forcefully brings Manisha to the Poddar house, clearly upset. Seeing her state, Kaveri asks Surekha what went wrong and whether everything is alright. Surekha reveals that Manisha and Kiara kept an important truth hidden from her. She angrily says that no one bothered to inform her that Kiara is struggling with drug addiction.

Kaveri Defends Kiara as Tensions Rise in the Poddar House

Surekha lashes out at Manisha, accusing her of blaming her for Kiara's condition. In her anger, she openly labels Kiara as a drug addict. Kaveri immediately steps in to defend Kiara, which leads to a heated argument between her and Surekha.

Amid the chaos, Kaveri and Manisha decide to take responsibility for Kiara and suggest that she should stay at the Poddar house. However, Surekha firmly refuses and insists that Manisha should keep Kiara at her own home. Kiara, feeling overwhelmed, refuses to stay with the Poddars. Manisha gently asks Kiara if she still wants to live with Surekha. Kiara responds emotionally, saying that even Manisha doubted her after finding out about her addiction, so she understands Surekha's reaction. She decides to face her problems on her own and handle everything independently.

Abhira Explains Vani’s Return and Shares Anita’s Unfulfilled Dream

Meanwhile, Abhira speaks to Maira and tells her that she understands why she is upset. Armaan admits that he, too, is not in a good mood. Abhira then explains the reason behind bringing Vani back home. She says that Vani wanted to take part in the dance competition, which was Anita's dream. Abhira recalls the painful moment when Anita died in front of her and how she couldn't save her. She adds that while she couldn't save Anita, she can still fulfil her dream.

Abhira assures Armaan that once the dance competition ends, she will send Vani back to the boarding school. Armaan agrees to this condition but clearly states that if Vani does not get selected, she must return immediately. Abhira agrees to his terms and hugs him. Armaan, however, controls himself and does not hug her back. He hopes that the family does not react negatively when they find out about Vani's return and asks Abhira to speak to Maira later.

Poddar Family Divided Over Abhira’s Decision

Abhira and Armaan then inform the Poddar family about Vani participating in the dance competition. Sanjay accuses Abhira of ignoring Maira and prioritising Vani instead. Vidya and Kaveri oppose Abhira's decision, while Madhav comes forward to support her. Soon after, Abhira and Armaan learn that both Vani and Maira have been selected for the competition. Vidya questions Abhira, asking her to choose between the two girls, leaving Abhira stunned.

Later, Armaan tries to speak to Maira, but she avoids him. He requests her not to stay angry with Abhira. Maira questions Armaan, asking why Abhira did not come to comfort her earlier. Abhira then approaches Maira, calms her down, and tells her that Vani is also participating in the competition. Maira asks Abhira whether she will dance with her or change her partner. Abhira reassures Maira that she will dance with her only.

Abhira Worries About Vani’s Dance Partner

Elsewhere, Abhir requests Surekha to help take care of Kiara. He asks her to let go of the past and start afresh, reminding her that Kiara still trusts them. Surekha finally agrees to give it another chance.

Abhira starts worrying about who will become Vani's dance partner. At that moment, Rahi calls Abhira regarding an issue related to the chawl. Abhira asks Rahi to have faith in Anupama. Later, Abhira silently hopes that the Poddars accept Vani completely and allow her to stay with them permanently.
