You're right, it started with "Bennifer"... and then the rest is history 😆

Why suddenly media decided to call them that, when they've never done that with any other couple before is a mystery

Yes, in HW it started with Bennifer and then Brangelina

In India, it was the TV serial forums here where I saw this trend first
I think it was Yeh Rishta first where they named the lead pair Naksh...and then later when lead couple's son was born the Creatives named him Naksh too
I dont think eariler during Jassi time TV shows joined the names like that 😆

Now Ive seen parents in real life naming their kids like this, joining their names and giving that name to the baby, however odd it may sound 😆

Bold - That's not new, although not very common that's been going on for a long time both India and other places

In the old times, they would join dad and mom's name if they formed a regular normal name, like Sandeep and Jaya's son would be Jaydeep or Sanjay

But now they join parents names to form unheard of names which dont have any meaning nor found in Indian history or mythology ...like Debjani and Santanu's daughter is named Sanjani

But then I find all these Baby, janu, bar, bias or whatever terms annoying too..😆
