If there is one gen-next pairing that fans love from the core of their hearts, it is Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Their last release Badrinath Ki Dulhania was a huge hit at the box office and was praised by the critics as well. The whole idea of this film itself was to bank on the actors' chemistry that fetched the audience when Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania came out. But seems like all might not be good between them, right now.

So, Varun is the first guest on season 2 of Neha Dhupia's podcast No Filter Neha. They taped the episode today, and it will air today at midnight, on Saavn. During their interaction Neha asked Varun to give one piece advise to Alia, and the actor refused. He said, "I don't have any advise for her. I don't want to talk about her. That is what she deserves. Ouch!

Though he later continued, "I think she has all pretty figured out at the moment. Can't tell her much. He further said that he doesn't want to give her any advise neither wants any advise from her. And finally he laid down the ground rule and said, "I don't want to talk about her! I don't want her to steal my thunder.

"Okay! No talking about Alia Bhatt! Sorry Alia! We are not talking about you. Neha replied, before continuing with the segment. We wonder what is the reason behind this crankiness. Well, when the first episode comes out, we might have our answers. Is this the end of Students of the Year, as we know them?

The faintest idea that we have is that this fall out might just be a joke that began as the episode commenced. Neha informed Varun that in the previous season Alia had the highest number of listeners out of all the podcasts. To which Varun replied, "She must have paid for her listeners! Maybe all Varun said is one long joke and it is just his competitiveness with Alia talking?
