Sui Dhaaga can be his first Blockbuster considering the release date, theme of the film, Pan- India film and known actress + banner. Also story is good from what they are hyping it to be. If it's got good WOM like DLKH - will sure do over 180cr

Shashank (director) and both Varun/Alia said they'll be back with it few years later. Not officially announced. But knowing Dharma/Kjo they'd like bank on the success of 2nd one

This isn't directed against you but I've seen general sentiment among people is if X actor gets critiques Y person assumes they are just mad because of their success. This isn't necessarily the case because sometimes or to some people there are other things beyond box office numbers.

I listened to this podcast yesterday on Saavn.

Trust me - he's joking.

It's not what he is saying - but it's the TONE he says it in that will let you know he is joking.

He put on a cutesy child like stubborn behavior when talking about Alia. And like others said this was recorded before IIFA.

Why do they make stupid articles out of simple interviews? Varun didn't say anything sensational, but today there are 4-5 articles on a 40 minute podcast.

I understand..

If you ask me,I'm not someone who cares about BO..For me I'd even watch any film eventhough it's super flop but the story interest me..

While I would agree that it's not necessary to dislike an actor coz he could be a threat to your favourite..but in recent times I have noticed many have been waiting for him to deliver a flop so that they could take him or his fandom down.

His hits are called average best or irrelevant coz they are not oh so big budget films or it was hit coz of this that n what not..In short , his success are merely a fluke nothing else..

While one would give various reason to justify their favourites films no matter how good or bad they are,the same people use the exact opposite words when it comes to his films..Now is that theory right,I don't think so.
