SBS went to the sets of VOI CU..where shooting of republic day special was going on. Sukhwinder Singh will be coming in the R-Day special epi of VOI. He sang a song for SBS. Performances of all contestants were shown…who were dressed like freedom fighters.
On the sets of 'Ek Chaabi Hai Padoss Mein '
Shooting for R-Day special epi was goin on. Passing the parcel was being played. Suhasi and Varun (lead actors of the show) shared their thoughts.
On the sets of 'Choona Hai Aasmaan'
Flag hoisting is goin on for the R-Day special episode. Actors wished everyone Happy Republic Day.
Glimpses of 'Rang De India' + itz sets
Contestants of VOI, VOI CU, SRGMP Challenge and Indian Idol came together on the occasion of R-Day. Glimpses of the show were shown. Even Shaan performed. Some off screen clips of Vineet, Ujjaini and Sumitra were shown.
R-Day special programme by Zee
On the completion of 15 yrs of Zee and on the occasion of 150th anniversary of India's First Independence Struggle Zee organized a special programme. People who have been associated with movies, serials, etc related to India's Independence in some way or the other were present to remember the freedom fighters. Even Shammi Kapoor, Shyam Benegal, Debojit, l'il champs, Himani, Raja Hasan, Paresh Rawal, etc. were present (so why was it called "R-Day" special?!).
