And she is someone who understood Dev better than Ishwari yet she needs everyone from Ishwari to Elena to explain whats going on with Dev. Sonakshi genuinely looks confused and unaffected and that to is the biggest failure of the writers in sketching an amazing character like her. Cos Sona may be a lot of things but she was always exceptionally perceptive and clued in about Dev's feelings.There was this scene pre-leap after their first break up when Sona came to Dev's house to check on him cos she knew he will be lost and disturbed. She knew he is all alone and no one really understood his state. She says that to Ishwari and mami too. That is the real Sona. She may be egoistic at times and too idealistic but she was sensitive, extremely perceptive and compassionate. If you want to show she has changed after all the struggles, atleast do that properly and spell it out to the viewers. This is neither here nor there.

We need to understand that Sonakshi led an independent life for 7 years without the support of any man . I agree there was Jatin , his father and brother , but they didn't accompany her in all her journey . Through FB we know that no one escorted her even to her visits to the gynecologist . We need to realize one thing all women's expectations and perspective are not same. I know a lot of woman including my sister who always expect pampering and they adore protective , possessive husband while few women including me absolutely hate possessive and pampering husband . We love it at times ,but not always.
Having said that the cv's have messed up with the characterization of all major characters in the serial .
