Mishal Raheja takes inspiration from Anurag Basu

TNN | Updated: Jul 18, 2017, 07:23 PM IST
Actor and businessman Mishal Raheja made headlines with his comeback albeit in the digital space with his web-series 'Hook-up Diaries' to hit on the floor very soon.

The co-owner of a driver -rental service, Party Hard Drivers, Mishal took a sabbatical only to come back as a producer with his web-series that will also see him act. Mishal draws inspiration from Anurag Basu and understands his working style and looks upto the Barfi director.
Mishal shares, 'Hook-up diaries is my maiden venture as a producer. I've invested more time in this more than anything else that I've professionally done so far. I want to be very sure. Production is new to me but I chanced upon working for Anurag Basu's first home production which is also the co-production for Jagga Jasoos I believe. I was cast as the male protagonist in his show titled Love Story. I've watched him work closely. He's the only producer I've seen in action.'
'He works with his mind in his heart. He was always up for last minute changes with fresh changes, creatively high at all times. That want to not just make a commercially viable film but put one's heart & soul to tell a story. I'm willing to take that route, put those energies. I don't just rush into things. I wait for things ti happen.' he added.

oh, DAZZ, I am super excited to see the whole production process. I hope he shares something with his fans.
Would love to see behind the scenes team, especially the writers.
I am looking forward to the title song, promos, first pic,...

One thing, whether I like Farah khan's movies or not, I love her end credits, she shows the team from all departments...

I hope so too, Ami! He needs to keep the buzz alive amongst his audience for his own show. 😊 I think he will share progress on his show with his fans. I'm sure some aspects will be left as a surprise for his viewers, but I'm sure we'll get tidbits here and there. Mishal, are you listening? 😉 😆
