Priyanka Chopra portrayed Kashi so well that she overshadowed Deepika's Mastani completely.

Had SLB stuck to real history Mastani would not have been as unpopular as she is with modern women.

PB creatives are making the same mistake and will end up being pelted with stones for trying to make the BM romance seem plausible at the cost of Kashi's happiness.

Well! Hello am Sakshi new to this forum and an on and off viewer of the show.

So here i watched one or two episodes were they r showing Baji neglecting Kashi nd stuff... also I guess they r portraying all this to show that Baji was never interested in Kashi.. hence justifying his stance of falling in love with Mastani... but all I think is that there is no need for anyone to justify anyone... whatever happened in history cant be and should be altered as even Bajirao was a human who though being happily married family person fell in love with beautiful princess of Bundelkhand.. Mastani...and wht follows is history.

I have poor knowledge of history but as far as I know that in the current track what they r showing.. baji and kashi were in their teens 17 - 18 MAYBE.. And Mastni i guess is 6-7 For as far as i know mastani was quite younger than Baji.

All and all I want to say is that in fit of justifying the acts of the male lead they are misleading facts which is totally unneccasary .. also there is no need to show kashi as a idle woman weeping and naive woman for she was a mentally and emotionally brave person who even looked after her step son after her husband and his lovers demise.

In other way Mastani was too gr8 in her own way.. she had a warriors courage and heart which i guess impressed Baji.. indoubt she was a peerless beauty too. so I dont think she deserves anyones hatred or rude comments.

These both were gr8 and respectable women in own sense.

So I think it wud be quite gracious of Makers to follow the history.. without changing the major happening as it do hurt mytho N historic lovers like us ...

Karan and Ishita look very very good together IMO and Ishita is doing just amazing as Kashibai, haven't seen much of her works but she totally impressed me here . Her expressions are top notch !!
Couldn't they take someone at least as good looking and capable as her ( if not better ) in the role of Mastani ?

Theu are ruining the story episode by episode and they are showing a very peculiar relationship of Kashi Baji. The story is becoming haywire and it is not at all tempting to watch a biographical/historical show when they tamper the storylines.
And about Mastani, first of all Mastani kar hi kya rahi hai is scenario me??? And the actress is so bland. Zero screen presence and very blank and similar expressions on all occasions. I was waiting eagerly for Mastani and Baji love story but now I am not at all interested to see them but I wanna see Kashi Baji more coz Ishita is really a very good actress.

Of course. But the aspect that stings is that he is treating Kashi like an unwanted baggage even BEFORE Mastani 's entry into his life. Wouldn't Baji have led a normal or even somewhat normal life with Kashi before Mastani.

And there should be something about a mistress to lure a man away from his dutiful wedded wife. Here Kashi is so charming and has captured the viewer's hearts and the actress chosen for Mastani has only created a negative impact.

Even Deepika with all her beauty couldn't create ans much an impact as Priyanka. There was something missing that could garner the viewer's throb/sympathy for their love story. Something that could justify Rao's shift in feelings. Mastani has to be that good. But this actress seems a goner already.🤢
