Varun has been consistent with his BO chooses the right scripts Judwa2 and sui dhaga also seems interesting he will continue there.

Ranveer has the second best average he has Padmavati coming up and GB and Rohit shetty film, he has done different subjects and I hope he chooses his script well. SLB is apparently gonna work with Salman next so RS can do at least 2 movies a year.

RK is there but then I dont know if he can maintain that , depends on Dutt, JJ with Kat also dint bring in big numbers.

Sid might catch up soon A gentleman trailer was nice and AIyyary might also work for him. He has a good fan following.

Dont know if SSR even deserves a mention , MS Dhoni got good opening due to the love for real Dhoni. he is a great actor though, Got KJO backing him for Drive , so that may do well and RAW ,chandamama door ke .

Do these "averages" even matter. Ranbir and Ranveer will always be better actors and bigger stars than Varun.

The most common thing I have seen in Varun fans is that they always compare him with Ranbir and Ranbir fans even dont care about these comparisons because Varun is not his target or his competition 😆 Ranbir had 20crore opening with Besharam and Dutt is around 😃, let Varun have that sort of opening and then dare to make comparisons!

So pretty much everyone falls in quite a narrow range of 4 cr's(8-12). None of these guys are head over heels over the other according to the data. It's all about the choices they make. Ranbir is trending downwards while Varun Dhawan upwards. Their next(Dutt & Judwaa 2) have potential to really skew the data with 20+ cr openings along with Ranveer's Padmavati while the others are happy with their mid-budget offerings.

Besharam released on national holiday. Let's varun solo movie be released on national holiday and then you will see he will deliver even more. Plus here TM talking about present boxoffice result and there Varun is leading quite comfortably.

IDK about BO, but that has never been the only factor deciding a superstar IMO.

Are Akki and Ajay superstars ? They are around for 20 plus years, still doing lead roles. Anil Kapoor is still around.

There is no one superstar. Perhaps they were before the Khans, my knowledge of old BW is sketchy at best. But in my memory it's been the 3 Khans. So too I believe Ranbir, Ranveer and Varun if the superstar concept still holds in BW. There are no superstars now in HW, content is more king. So I am not even sure the superstar trend will continue in BW.
