So its safe to say I am not a huge fan of Gul. I have never related to any of her previous characters? But Advay is a bit more relatable. (Most dark heroes start off ok in the beginning.) But Gul has learned from her previous shows mistakes and revealed the past right away. This time it wasn't something silly like a wife wanting to hang out with girlfriends. It was really serious. So his anger is only natural. However, its been proven holding on to past grievances is only mentally harmful to yourself. Secondly, it seems like from his flashbacks Chandni only states what she saw. It was fundamentalism to some extent that caused his mother death. For an example, the belief that she was a witch. There seems to be more politics behind his father's death. But Chandni is an entire 8 years younger then him. Obviously she was very young at the time. No child at that age can intentionally want to hurt someone. I dont expect Advay to realize this right away. But I do hope at some point maybe at a later stage of the show they do make him ponder these things. As they say an eye for an eye would leave the entire world blind.

In Flashback they show Chandini directly asking Advay... she saw his mom flying she is witch...So tat means she is kid and still ignorant of things..
Now I am thinking young Dev might done some Physics homework and made his mom fly in air... Like spaceroom with zero gravity...
If he cld form artificial rain why not zero gravity machine

When Dev was running away from the people
Who were chasing him to kill him also
Chandni pointed out his hiding place to them
Surely she did it in her full consciousness
She must have seen the people were armed
Yet she said so that makes her not so innocent
But yes we need to know the full truth from Chandni too
Advay too needs to know the full truth

I like gul's previous shows like geet, ipk1, qubool hai or even that online show tanhiyaan. I have tried to watch this show for barun but its hard, and you know about my undying love for him. Its to colorful, and the outfits are so cringeworthy. In Qh, geet and ipk i rooted for the FL but in this show i feel like she deserves what's coming towards her and her family. Chandni wasn't innocent, her words led to the demise of advey's mother.

I don't think the past is as simple as it is shown till now. Advay is hurt and betrayed from Chandni. It is more like - how because of his friend he lost his family and when he was running away his friend instead of helping him gave out his hideout because of which he lost his brother too. I guess that is what hurts Advay the most. As Dev he definitely had his crush on Chandni who must have been his only playmate and confidante when growing up but when his confidante only gave away his hiding place and caused him to lose his brother I guess he is hurt and feels betrayed. But you can see the care and concern of Dev peeking through the rough exterior of Advay.

The Advay and Chandini flashback might have more shades than what is shown... Gul might reveal it slowly

Quoting candys words she posted earlier!

According to advay, what vashisht parivaar did was crime but what chandni did was Betrayal!

During school days even if we did wrong we expect our best friend to support us in front of teacher... Consciously we know best friend is not wrong in telling the truth... Sti'll we fight with them

advay is doing the same...he had not grown after that fateful day

Is it so hard to understand that she was a child?
I agree best friends have each other's back and everything.
I haven't really watched the scene where they show Chandini pointed the men towards Advay but isn't it possible she was did it so he doesn't get in anymore trouble? Like sometime we say the truth instead of protecting our friends because we feel like they're just gioing to get into more trouble/ make the situation worse if they keep hiding or lying. I mean she can't have possible known the entire situation at the time let alone understood it.
Also Chandini's character isn't shown to be cunning or even grey for that matter. So for her as a child to do something in all her consciousness that would hurt someone doesn't fit with her character sketch.

An eight year old is still developing their analytical ability. They literally start remember events with accuracy around 7.
Personally speaking I was 8 when someone very close to me died and for the longest time I had no idea what being killed meant. Like I knew she was dead but how she died didn't register in my mind until years later. In fact even though I knew she was dead, a part of me still believed she would come back for a number years.

My point of telling this is that knowing and understanding are two completely different thing. Morever understanding and understanding completely are different things too. She couldn't have known what her words or actions might lead too. Her intention wasn't to cause Advay or his family harm. Isn't intention what counts the most?

That being said I'm not condemning Advay. What he's feeling or doing is quite natural. I don't expect him to think so deeply about Chandini because the pain he's going through is far too much to make him see otherwise.

Personally I think it won't be until he really hurts Chandini that he comes to that realization because in that way the writers may show there is a difference between revenge and justice and that revenge causes harm even to who are innocent.

Although if they do show that she actually did have a part in it and did it completely in her senses out of some sense of malice or cunningness or even to get back to him for some prank, i think that will be a great twist. It will only make their characters more real and add layers to them.

This is just my view though so its okay if anyone disagrees. To each his/ her own right. :)

I just realize how invested and obsessed I sound in the characters when i havent even watched all of the episodes. 😆

I think its been established she believes in telling the truth no matter what odds. The "sach to sach hota hai" dialogue kind of indicates that. And once again she was young at the time. A child can be easily manipulated.
