Is it so hard to understand that she was a child?
I agree best friends have each other's back and everything.
I haven't really watched the scene where they show Chandini pointed the men towards Advay but isn't it possible she was did it so he doesn't get in anymore trouble? Like sometime we say the truth instead of protecting our friends because we feel like they're just gioing to get into more trouble/ make the situation worse if they keep hiding or lying. I mean she can't have possible known the entire situation at the time let alone understood it.
Also Chandini's character isn't shown to be cunning or even grey for that matter. So for her as a child to do something in all her consciousness that would hurt someone doesn't fit with her character sketch.
An eight year old is still developing their analytical ability. They literally start remember events with accuracy around 7.
Personally speaking I was 8 when someone very close to me died and for the longest time I had no idea what being killed meant. Like I knew she was dead but how she died didn't register in my mind until years later. In fact even though I knew she was dead, a part of me still believed she would come back for a number years.
My point of telling this is that knowing and understanding are two completely different thing. Morever understanding and understanding completely are different things too. She couldn't have known what her words or actions might lead too. Her intention wasn't to cause Advay or his family harm. Isn't intention what counts the most?
That being said I'm not condemning Advay. What he's feeling or doing is quite natural. I don't expect him to think so deeply about Chandini because the pain he's going through is far too much to make him see otherwise.
Personally I think it won't be until he really hurts Chandini that he comes to that realization because in that way the writers may show there is a difference between revenge and justice and that revenge causes harm even to who are innocent.
Although if they do show that she actually did have a part in it and did it completely in her senses out of some sense of malice or cunningness or even to get back to him for some prank, i think that will be a great twist. It will only make their characters more real and add layers to them.
This is just my view though so its okay if anyone disagrees. To each his/ her own right. :)
I just realize how invested and obsessed I sound in the characters when i havent even watched all of the episodes. 😆
