Preet brings Simi home to find the entire family and the Panchayat assembled. Jagan brings the roof down when he discovers Simi is alive and that Amba has kept another big truth from him. He requests the Panchayat to punish Amba for her deceit. Simi gets scared and starts crying. Preet feels for her sister and tries to defend her mother and her sister. She tells the Panchayat that her mother was forced to take the decision to protect her daughter. Jagan cuts her short and tells her that she's a Bhajwa and that she has no right to interfere in his family matters.
The Panchayat discuss amongst themselves and decides to forgive Amba. They are of the opinion that she lied only to save a life and in doing so did nobody harm. They tell Jagan to allow Amba and Simi to live in the house. Everyone is relived except Jagan. He threatens them by saying he would throw them out if Amba is caught with another lie or if Simi troubles him in any way. The Panchayat agrees.
Harjeet slaps Rohan for his deed. Rohan on the other hand is very proud of what he has done. He says he does not care what his father thinks about him; he's only concerned about his mother. He looks at Raj and tells that his mother has atleast one son who knows to respect women. This angers his father even more. He swears to throw Rohan out of the house. He tells his dad that he is not the drunkard Rohan, but a new Rohan who is aware of his rights and tells him that he has a share of the property and nobody can throw him out.
This is followed by more drama from Mohini and Harjeet. After they exit, Amrit and Rohan hug and Amrit feels very proud of her son. All this makes Raj feel left out and he feels isolated.
Later Raj sees Amrit feeding Rohan dinner and feels miserable that he's not a part of it all. As Raj is about to leave the room, Amrit reminds him of the promise he made. He tells Amrit that he was not the one to break the marriage, but Preet wanted to.
Mohini is seething in her room and swears to let Preet know what victory is.
Preet is at the BH and she recollects what Raj accused her of and she feels sad. Amrit comes in at that point and they hug. One of the helpers come and announce that Harjeet has asked everyone to assemble as the Panchayat has been called for. This worries Preet.
Precap - Mohini says that Simi is the Bhajwas's DIL as Raman and Simi were married. She says that from now on Simi should live at the BH. Mohini and Harjeet make a play of congratulating Raj on his move so as to create misunderstandings between Raj and Preet.
