Is this the same show I was going gaga over just a week ago? What the hell happened?! These last 2 episodes have brought this show down to a typical run of the mill village mentality crap fest. Sorry for the strong words, but I am so mad at the cvs.
Ramy is annoying the life out of me with her backward revenge mentality, Mukhi is coming across as another village bumpkin (makes me wonder if he has any feelings for Aru at all), and Aru is behaving like an immature teenager.
I loved this show because it was coming across as different, Aru and Mukhi were such sweet characters, that a viewer would wish they could be a part of their world. But after yesterday, and again today, I felt like tossing the screen out the window!
There are so many things they could show, why are they so hell-bent on doing what's been done before?
If I had a say in the story, this is how I'd progress it:
- find a reason for Aru to stay on in Amboli. Like maybe Saanvi is terribly anemic, has rare blood type, Aru matches, so she stays to give her blood every month or something.
- while in the village, over the course of the remaining part of the pregnancy, Aru starts some business or makes an invention that helps the locals. There are challenges along the way, but she succeeds. She's finally earned enough money to by her parents their own home.
- she continues to assist Mukhi with tough decisions and time and again proves to the villagers that she's worthy of being their Mukhiyani. They all love her.
- Mukhi doesn't know what to make of her. She's child-like in some respect, yes. But she also proves to be a person of strong character. He falls for her, but is conflicted.
These are just some of my ideas. I want cvs to strengthen and fix these characters. Not mash them into the unrecognizable specimens like the last 2 days. I'm already dreading Monday. Aru cannot see she's been manipulated, and is about to lose more respect in Mukhi's eyes... It doesn't seem like the true Aru at all...

I'm terribly disappointed with all this butchering...😭😭😭

Sorry For the long post, I needed to vent...
And btw, how does the network coverage come at the most "opportune" times in Mukhi's house?
Also, Mishri couldn't even call her Bhaila on his birthday?! Cvs could have used to to save Aru from making a fool of herself. Sigh...

TRPs happened, Lol or rather didn't happen, hence the gimmicks. Happens to the best of shows. When a strong, sensible script doesn't bring in the revenue, it's only recourse for survival is to plunge head long into the community cesspool of Indian TV tripe.
Sad, this one was a gem. I usually skip this phase and come back to watch the end. I am guessing the wait won't be too long😆

Dear channel, please don't mess up with th story line of the serial. If the TRPs are not increasing that's probably not because of the story line, it could be probably because of the time slots you gave to the serial or because you failed to market it appropriately. You might have limited set of viewers, but the viewers are die hard fan of the show. It's a lot different show, better than any other soap opera currently played in Indian television industry. Just move out of the TRP race and try to earn some credibility. Hope you keep this show going in its true spirits.
