Was SD's wife name Kalavati in the novel too like in the show?

In dd version they showed, SD has one Vish kanya named tara apart from hos wife kalawati. May be shayamla could be another tara.

Yes SD had kalavati n tara by his side. They shown kalawati as decent lady whereas tara was vamp. After some time they introduced another vish kanya along with tara. Her name was sultana.

But in dd version after some time they deviated from the original plot n focus shifted on CG, Sd, n cg characters. They forgot the love story of viren n ck. but in our show the main focus is the love story of v n ck
