First few years of the award show they were partial towards Zee shows. Afterwards it was the only show backed by a tv channel known to be fair. Last year was a mess but each one of the multiple winners of those categories was deserving one though. Let's see what they follow this year.

last year the reporters ruined it, best actor/actress popular had multiple winners but they reported crtics too. Also, confusion as additional categories like refreshing jodi, long running jodi. In all honesty every shows lead from the top ones got an award. I wouldn't be surprised if again it happens.

jennifer may win critics, popular is between dt, mouni, rubina and sriti.the popular award most of the time is won by a show which has trps

i think it was because there is no popular show in that channel except kkb.but lastyear was too much 4 best /actrees and 3 jodi awards
