Bollywood descends at power-packed Delhi shaadi

Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad's daughter's wedding reception in the city on Sunday saw the presence of Bollywood biggies like Salman Khan, SRK and Kajol, apart from the who's who of politics. While it was a strictly no-media affair, the arrival of such big stars in the city could not be kept under wraps.

The wedding reception of Aditi Prasad and Ajay Iyer was attended by all the big names in politics - from PM Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Manmohan Singh and LK Advani - apart from Bollywood celebs.
"Prasad had earlier held the position of MoS in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, so he has always shared cordial relations with actors and filmmakers. While the wedding was a family affair, the reception was a grand celebration and there was hardly any big name from the world of politics that wasn't present. Salman and Shah Rukh especially came to Delhi to attend the wedding," a source told us. Also present were many names that straddle both Bollywood and politics, like Shatrughan Sinha, Kirron Kher and Manoj Tiwari.
