Maharashtra the tax was 33% if am not mistaken.. so it will be cheaper there as well..i think it varies from state to state..some states which had negligible entertainment tax will suffer and those with higher tax will benefit..

So its only applicable to single screens.
Good thing, people who cannot afford will get a boost to go watch movies 👍🏼

single screens will hike the price to 101 rs ...simple.

The places where the tax was very high will benefit
The places where tax was very low will run at a loss

frankly speaking here in Mumbai spending 10000 rs on yourself is not so big thing as many working class youth have good jobs and affordable life style, films, shopping, hangout are now becoming part of weekends

I don't go to watch nonsensical BW films. Unless it's an Amir film or a good indie film with decent reviews, I'd die before going to theatre. Most of our friends only watch English movies in theatre or massive stuff like Bahubali/3Idiots and all. But the tickets in the big multiplexes are supposed to go down AFAIK. So, don't believe it would be a huge problem for the multiplex audience.
