That Ranveer Singh is a dedicated actor is something we all know. His impressive transformation as the Peshwa warrior for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani is enough to prove our point. The actor stunned all with his dedication and the pitch-perfect performance.
Now, Ranveer has sunk his teeth into yet another historic character of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati. For the same, the actor is prepping hard day and night. He has beefed up for the role too.
According to a report in a popular magazine's weekly column, Ranveer is leaving no stone in preparing for the role. He has isolated himself to play the character of Khilji, best remembered for having attacked the kingdom of Chittor in a hope of getting his hands on Rani Padmavati. He was obsessed with the Queen and her beauty. Interestingly, a few insiders, who have been present on the set, are in awe with Ranveer's effortless transformation. Those who've been on the set are praising the actor's commitment to the character of the cruel sultan.
Not only is Ranveer working hard, but is partying harder too. Last week, he was spotted chilling with Shanoo Sharma on her birthday followed by Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Aditya Roy Kapur at his best friend Arjun Kapoor's 32nd birthday. That not all. Singh also indulges in a game of cricket with the kids of the apartment where he is put up currently. Word has it, that the actor has been encouraging kids of his building to tuck chits under his door, informing him the time at which they will play cricket in the complex.
Sweet, we say!
In fact, the report also mentions that RS is very friendly with the people when they bump into him in the elevator, unlike Yami Gautam, who stays in the same complex, but prefers to stay aloof!
