Opposition slams Ministry of Power over the failure of Salman's movie Tubelight.

New Delhi: Salman's Eid release Tubelight hit the theatres on Friday and failed to get the momentum that a usual Salman movie gathers. It's the second hit-n-run case where Salman is the prime accused. While Salman fans are expecting that movie will gain momentum with time, opposition has blamed the Ministry of Power for the failure.

After Tubelight failed to create an impact among public, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi attacked Piyush Goyal and demanded his resignation. Rahul Gandhi in a series of tweets to Piyush Goyal said

"Mr. @PiyushGoyal since you claim that more than 90% villages have been electrified, you must take the blame of Tubelight's failure.

"During UPA time Transformers worked, but under BJP's rule both SRK's fan and Salman's Tubelight couldn't perform. @PiyushGoyal must resign.

BJP spokesman Giriraj Singh replied to Rahul Gandhi's tweets in a debate on Republic Hour. Giriraj Singh said "Rahul Ji allegations are baseless. BJP has distributed more than ten lakh LED bulbs and if people still want Tubelight it's not out fault. Giriraj Singh further added "Tubelight consumes more units compared to an LED of similar rating. It's time people move from Tubelight to LED

CM Arvind Kejriwal also attacked the government saying "I myself is an engineer from IIT. I know how BJP hacked Tubelight and Fan. They are doing this to save power and to show that India is a power surplus country. It's a scam of worth 585 crores and sab mile hue hain ji

Though Piyush Goyal has not yet spoken on the issue but the opposition is gaining more momentum than this Salman's movie ever did.

On topic. Thankfully, Bhai fans are more matured. Though it is taking time for them to accept failure of the movie, they are not acting crazy. Fans of certain star have blamed everyone else for the poor show, except the film.

Everyone (including Bhai) thinks Bhai fans are launde lapades. How come their rersponse is more matured than intellectuals?

Really! Are u deliberately ignoring Lakhan's posts and topics that he has been making since the release to defend Bhai. Others are silent because they have nothing to say. They have celebrated other actors failures, undermined others achievements since last few years. Jab apne favorite ki baari aayi toh sab chup hain. But don't worry, they will all will be back during JJ and JHMS release.😆

I have not ignored Lakhan's posts. ( https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/142728116 ). That's why I said, Bhai's fans are still taking time to accept the failure.

But Lakhan did not blame anyone else. Even before release (during advance booking time), he put the blame on Salman and Kabir who went for experimenting. ( https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/bollywood/4863516/post-dabangg-salmans-weakest-advance-booking-for-1st-time ).

TL underperformed but yet managed 100+ cr. 😉 'Intellectual' fans ke movies 30+ or 90+ bhi toh cross nahi karte 😭 Reaction of acceptance would deffo be different 😛 😆
