Eid is one of the top 2 holidays of the year along with Christmas.

Salman who has been giving blockbusters with ease since Dabanagg in 2010 is one of the biggest (if not biggest) star in India,

In the year 2017, he reunited with Kabir Khan. After the amazing Bajrangi Bhaijaan and came solo on Eid.. Yet the film under performed so badly critics and fans have called it one of Salman's worst performances, not to mention that shows are getting cancelled/enhanced ticket prices topics i've seen.. etc

Now I know Fan and Talaash under performed but they both came on a non holiday/festival. plus both films got high praise from the critics.

Dilwale was an embarrassing defeat in the end but it clashed with a biggie in Bajirao, not to mention Dilwale destroyed Bajirao in WW collections.

Raees under performed (yet performed better then Tubelight) but again, it was a non-Festival/holiday and clashed with a biggie in Kaabil and won.

Tubelight isn't collecting well in India or worldwide, and the performance of Salman is being thrashed by every critic.

I went to watch Tubelight today andusually for all Salman and Shahrukh films the hall is houseful, chock-a-block. (Aamir aswell to a lesser extent)

but this time there was me and my family and about 8 other people. it was more or less empty. I was completely shocked but i understood why once the film started.

The less said about the film the better, I thought Salman's performance wasn't as bad as people were saying, lets just say i did not enjoy the film and i honestly preferred Jai Ho to it.

Anyway, that brings me to my question - Is tubelight the biggest and most humiliating failure in all three Khan's history?

If not, then what is?

No, FAN is. Dilwale too. Dilwale had iconic Kajol+SRK couple after a long time, Rohit Shetty, Johnny Lever, hit music, Varun...

Reason being?

Dilwale had a clash and Fan wasnt a festival release, so i can't see how it is worse then a solo eid release failing?

SRK's are the busiest here by far, the UK loves SRK.

Salman is a close second, Aamir is a distant 3rd here. (i'm talking first day shows not the long run)
