Is Deepika last actress from the south to make big in BW?

Back then there were several actresses from the south that become big star in BW like Hema Malini, Rekha, Sridevi, Ashwariya, Deepika and few other actresses but after Deepika, I haven't seen any actresses from the south that made a good impact in BW, some actresses from the south like Tammanah Bhatia, Kajal Agarwal and Illena D' Cruz worked on few movies although they r not from the south by their origin but their career didn't go anywhere after doing few movies, last actress I saw from the south was Pooja Hedge but her debut movie was flop despite making a debut opposite of HR and after that her career doesn't seem to go anywhere, one reason actresses from the south can't make big nowadays is because right now BW seems to get filled with all the star kids and most of the BW star kids r Punjabi or from the Khan families, so after Deepika, BW probably will not have any actresses that can become big star.

Well she doesn't have any movie on her kitty right now and she is 26 year old, most of the actresses career start to go down once they hit 30, so she doesn't have much time left to become a star in BW and the way star kids started to make their debut, it looks like outsiders won't get much opportunities.😃

Pooja Hedge is from a South Indian Family but was born and grew up in Bombay. Still she also debuted in SI cinema.

Born and raised in Goa from Goatian parents. I think Go is considered as being closer to North India, like Maharashtra because the majority doesn't speak a dravidian language.
