My guess...

it definitely has a sexual molestation angle. But with Pahlaj's tweet of tagging that campaign, could it be the victim gets pregnant and the issue raises regarding abortion while the guys go scot free... until Mom ensures a befitting justice for the wrongdoing. 😊

Oh well. The story won't be pathbreaking. It's success will lie primarily in its slick execution, screenplay, dialogues in a thriller format. Of course, a uniformly superb acting by the ensemble.

Shit. I was hoping it was more of bullying angle where the girl loses her life or becomes ill. And Sri takes revenge. That would make it gender neutral topic. But you are right. Beti bachoa Beti Padhao could be anti abortion.
Why could Sri not have adopted a movie about teenage pregnancy and raise that topic. It is timely and essential with all rise in sex before marriage. 😊
