My thoughts on IPKKND3

I think I am not too late in posting my thoughts on IPKKND3. I was trying to stop myself from posting anything but now I am eager to know if anyone agrees with me. So honestly I am very excited for IPKKND3 and it looks great but i am trying to keep my expectations low because I dont think it will match up IPKKND1. I dont have a problem with Shivani in fact I very much ship Adhvay and Chandni but I know that the kind of role she is playing is very different from khushi's which was one of the biggest things that made IPKKND1 what it is now!

Nope. I don't agree with you about something here. For me the character that actually brought intrigue to IPKKND was ASR and the layers of his character. His transition throughout the show was what kept me glued. I didn't find Khushi relatable or real. In fact she was a major turn off factor at the end with her over the top reactions. Sure ASR and Khushi made a good looking couple but I personally did not like Khushi individually.

Back to IPKKND 3, Chandni however seems quite different from the usual heroines till now. Her reaction to Advay's "beautiful" in the Dussehra promo was impressive for me at least. There's this depth and maturity with these two that makes it far more appealing for me.

I don't want to denigrate the current screenplay writer by comparing her with GH. Let's see what she has to offer instead of wondering how the show would have been if GH had been writing it? I'm sure she has her own unique set of good ideas.

Their will be comic relief here as well and I guess ved raj was main writer of ipk yes gautam was also there but main one was ved.

I am going to give the first episode a try and see if I like it but again I dont think it will be the same because the story seems like just a intense love story not a comedic intense love story which is one of the elements that IPKKND needsss!!!! to be a hit!

Apart from that I hate the fact that Gul is producing it under the name of IPKKND which I am pretty sure is just so it gets a boost when going on air. I think I would have had way less expectations if she hadnt named it IPKKND but I would have still gave the 1st episode a shot because of Barun.

Another thing is that honestly I LOVE the new rabba ve the remix is amazing!! but I hate her for using it on another character I mean I didnt expect Gul to use Rabba ve which is only for arnav and khushi for a different jodi!

I also think if they got teh same screenplay writer which was Gautam Hedge from IPKKND1 he could make their love story even more better.

Hopefully Gul doesnt disappoint me again after Ishqbaaz and DBO!!

Please share your opinions I would love to listen and I m not bashing anyone :)

Well my point of view is if the love story is good and decent and if the show runs on the leads as intial IPPKND was, it would be good... I am expecting comedy elements... i want it to be serial in macth with the season 1, story change is accepted but, i dont want gul to turn it in to saas bahu drama's as she is doing with her current IB show.

@bold i agree a lot with that... The only disappointment and worry for me in big way is Harneet is the story writer, she is very hap hazard, starts story well but she gets lost very soon, leaves tracks haphazard, she is not a good writer, i wish very much Gul got the old writers back...

and next worry for me the costume designer...she is a disaster...I meant about Shivani ...to get an idea you can watch any function episodes of IB or DBo you would not( she makes costumes of Jungle theme, for curtains and what not)

I wish Gul does good job as she did for season one, rather than turning this show as her disasters QH or else IB( i meant the current track)

For me IPKKND is and would always be synonymous with Arnav and Khushi's saga and I do wish this new one was named something else. And no I don't want Barun and Sanaya to cast together again since it would be a very tall order for them to recreate that chemistry once again. I have seen it before with this other couple who was repeated repeatedly because of their on screen chemistry from their first show, but to me they could never recreate that magic again and this couple is married in real life yet they couldn't create the same effect, so to expect from Sanaya and Barun to create the same magic won't be fair.

My biggest disappointment with TV shows these days is that such promising storylines also get spoiled and go off track so abruptly.I don't know why, since there is an abundance of creative talent in the country, yet these TV shows can't maintain a consistency in the storyline and soon go heywire. I recently started watching Ishqbaaz and just when I was getting into it, they have lost it completely with new angle. As of yesterday, they lost me as a viewer.

This new IPKKND, although I wished was named something else, but hey as people on this forum keep on harping that, it is their franchise , so who am I to complain😆, so yes the intended storyline of this new IPKKND is pretty intense which needs maturity to bring forth this idea on the screen, but dunno why, I highly doubt Gul/bull/ shul of this world would be able to do justice to it. But it is not her fault either, it is viewers these days who always demand nonsense like MIL, SIL sati savtri bahu types drama and if you try something new those shows are shut down pretty quickly due to low TRP. Hence, Guls of the world ends up giving bull crap to the viewers. Good romantic dramas are difficult to sustain on television without idiotic family melodrama.

Visually cinematographically this one is looking far superior to other shows but their costumes would be just too painful to watch day in and day out. Gosh those are one ugly clothes they have given to the cast.

Shivani is a very pretty girl, I had seen her in few episodes of Kasam and was going to follow it at the time, but when they chucked her out, I stopped watching that serial. Well Advey and Chandini are looking amazing even in those atrocious costumes. Wish I could design their clothes. Ah!

So yes, I am feeling sad to see how people divided on IPKKND forum and wrote rude stuff to demean the actors who had done nothing but entertained us through their craft.

For me, the meanest thing that, I did was I made Gul a Raizada and Arnav and Adhvey Singh Raizada's mother in my Sims4 game. At least somewhere I have an ultimate power where I get to play God with their characters...That is MY script and nobody spoils it.😆😉

I haven't posted in this forum yet but couldn't help but post when I saw your topic. IPK was one of my all time favorite shows for many reasons. The first few months of the show was sheer brilliance, be it the back ground scores, cinematography, screen play or direction. But the most illuminating factor was the leads and their stark difference in personalities.

I am bit afraid to voice my opinion on this forum, because a few strong ones would go on their bashing rant and would call my opinion as spreading negativity, which would never be my intention. Although in some interview they said Chandini would be a strong character, but that's not a vibe I am getting from this character yet.

Buy hey my DVR is all set, I would be watching this new one with equal enthusiasm. Finger's crossed.😉
