Let's give them a break no one survived this forced separation lol. Obviously, he isn't supposed to realize anything for the separation to happen like she how is supposed to walk away for his security. Too much Shivaay vs Anika going on right now when it's really the writers fault.

After 300 episodes sacrificing for family and obligations I want to see them living for themselves. Omru have their own show and Sahil is going away to camp its time to do whatever they want. Hope its more than blowing up cars and becoming a playboy 😆

Here is what I thought this show was about: being a parody for all shows like it in Hindi TV land. And I really think that they were doing a great job of it when I was watching it. The plot was the same old plot, but the characters were ALL more thoughtful and self-aware than all their counterparts in other serials. Shivaay was not just the typical masochist. Anika was not the typical brain-unhinged chattering bright thing. Om was not the typical brooding artist -- he had a drug problem. Rudra beautifully tread the line between being baby and stepping into diffuse any tension that arose between his older brothers. Both Pinky and Jhanvi had this curious dynamic of being enemies at one level (claim on the family business) and friends (against anyone trying to disrupt their family). The senior brothers Oberoi had this curious tight tolerance for each other, despite having some distaste for each other's lifestyles.

Daadi was the only boring typical character.

I think that the disruption in the original story line came because of the Om-Rudra actors falling sick and being away for a long time. That's when the writers realised that whatever trite / discordant storylines they brought in, it would all work because of Shivaay and Anika. Since then, the story of the family became more the story of these two. I think there was still a chance that things would be fine, but then they got this stupid idea of breaking up the story into two shows.

SO my answer to your question? All this -- the crazy place that we are in the story just now? -- was the fault of the mosquito that made the Om and Rudra actors fall ill. 🤣

Priyanka is younger to Rudra. She is Tej and Jhanvi's youngest child. Om and Annika are probably the same or close in age. Om always called her Annika and she called him Om before they became related. Whereas Rudra always referred to Annika as Didi. Priyanka was not Annika's friend from school. Anyways, agree. Priyanka is useless most of the time. She just became a typical "Victim Sister" which seems to be the kind Gul Khan prefers in her shows. Starting from Anjali in IPK to sisters in QH and now Priyanka. There was one sister from the final season of QH called Kainaat. Don't even get me started on that chick! LOL. Lets just say she was a huge disappointment. She even went to jail!
