It's not the first time I'm late to a party.
But it's a first when it comes to my office events.
And moreover it's New Year Party along with the introduction of the heir of CL group of Companies.

I don't even know our new MD's name while I'm called 'The best employee of the company'.

What reason could I say?

Should I say the truth that I had a small talk with my mom, the only person in my life who wanted me to marry. And I said that I didn't want and asked her to never talk about that matter.
Or lie sayings I was stuck in the lift of my appartement for more than 30 minutes, so I'm late.

I have to see what to say according to people I meet there.
