There is journalism, and then there is crossing a line. This guy is a professional and his scathing insistence of Salman's past trudged towards interrogation rather than an interview. That wasn't the purpose of the sit-down. Salman Khan wasn't interviewing for BBC's HARDtalk. He was there to promote his movie. It's only professional to ask a question referring to those incidents, but the way this journalist tried to go full-throttle is exactly what's going with journalism these days. There are stern interviewing skills and there is blatant goading. This guy was trying to get a reaction from Salman.

I am surprised he sat through this interview. Question is that why did he let this person carry on?

There's something behind this interview - Getting sympathy for Salman? Stirring controversy? Low buzz of TL? Evoking emotions of fans so that they go and watch the movie, irrespective of what they feel about the movie.

RR: all and above. adding one more. journo decided to use it as an opportunity to get answer. Salman knew walking away will look bad. Reshma may not have made Salman but she knew how to navigate media and generate aura. He looks bit lost. 😊
