Buzz has it that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is miffed with Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone is on a professional high. If her Bollywood films are minting money at the box office, her Hollywood career has also kickstarted. In fact, after the success of xXx Return of Xander Cage, director DJ Caruso has confirmed that Deepika will reprise her role as Serena Unger in the fourth instalment of the franchise.

While her films are getting rave reviews, one of her recent photoshoots received the ire of her fans. Clad in an all-white two piece body suit, the actor looked smoking hot. But the bold photoshoot did not go down to well with many, and she was instantly trolled for wearing "revealing clothes."

And if a report in Deccan Chronicle is to be believed, her Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, too, is miffed. The report suggests that the filmmaker is upset with the bold choices that the 31-year-old actor is making before the release of his period drama, which had already run into trouble with Rajput organisations for allegedly showing queen Padmavati in bad light. And Bhansali is in no mood to ruffle some feathers anymore.

A source was quoted as telling the daily, "Deepika is essaying the role of a historical character, a Rani (queen) in Padmavati and to pose for steamy photoshoots right before the release of the film, is unacceptable to him (Sanjay Leela Bhansali). He feels the pictures could rub people the wrong way. After what has happened in the past, he just cannot afford to risk it all for a third time."

Padmavati, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, is set to hit the screens on November 17.

Probably... he supposedly was upset with ranveer for the AIB roast & and his clothes

I didn't like the photo shoot pics... But bhansali is hypocrite. He has shooter her in Ram leela in really bold manner if we go by his standaard...Khamoshi, hddcs, guzarish, devdas, ...

I was missing Paddu news . SLB and Paddu PR stayed quiet for a very long time !! Well done.

bhansali should have casted aishwarya instead of deepika.deepika is too bold to play padmavati.people worship padmavati .this photoshoot doesnt suit the image .
