It was the perfect sitaron ka mela at a city auditorium on Sunday. Tollywood and Bollywood came calling for this award function. Shakil played the perfect host as he kept the audience 'anchor'ed with his anecdotes, poems singing and dancing skills. But it was the Dil Mil Gaye star, Karan Grover's acting skills that won him a sweeping victory among the little ones. They almost fell over the other to get close to him amidst squeals of "Ooooooohh check him out. He's so cute." Karan, who bagged an award in the best promising star in the television category, obliged his fans with his autograph. But what came as a pleasant surprise was when Aditya Narayan, Aadesh Shrivastava and Zubeen Garg took the mic when requested by Shakil to do so.
