Meri Zindagi Ki Khaatir Mujhe Laazmi Lagge Tu
Ishita Iyer belonged to a perfectly well off family with a father who was now a retired finance assistant at the Health Ministry of India and a mother who was a homemaker; a woman who had a good rapport with all the ladies in their new neighbourhood, here in Delhi; except for a certain "Paanjaabi waali" residing right opposite the Iyers.
Mrs. Bhalla would often throw chicken bones right at the door step of the purely vegetarian Iyers, resulting in heated arguments between the two ladies. Often, escalating to taunting from both women, directed at each of their children'.
Ishita would get deeply affected by the callous and insensitive remarks of Mrs. Bhalla and would lock herself in her room unwilling to get out to share her feelings to try and unburden herself from the feeling of worthlessness. She would stay in her room without uttering a single word; crying at her doomed fate. The only solace in her life was her clinic. She was a paediatric dentist; totally absorbed by her work, cherishing the warmth and unadulterated love of her little patients who didn't taunt her or judge her for a condition that wasn't even in her control!
However, as Ishita would return home, she would find her mother wide awake seizing all possible opportunities to coax her into going to the "Parichay Sammolan" event and emotionally blackmailed; Ishita would reject leaving her destiny over to the Almighty.
It was one fine day that Ishita had gone over to the shop to buy drumsticks that she saw a young, innocent girl and there began Ishita's journey from a rejected girl; ripped off of her dreams to becoming the lifeline of "RuMan"
Watch out for this journey! 😉
