Hasn't ranveer been filming by far the most? He'd have to give a Mastani level terrible performance for that to happen.

In Shahid's dreams! Ranveer is a much better actor and performer than Shahid. Shahid has never swept me off my feet with any of his performances in his decades old career where Ranveer managed to do that in such a short span.

as a person who have had the opportunity for a quick preview of the script, Shahid is in a supporting actor role in Padmavati..he screentime is slightly more than previous SLB supporting actors but nowhere near to Ranveer. Ranveer is in the scenes with both ratan singh and deepika's character. It's not the case for the character of padmavati and ratan singh

Shahid has never overshadowed anyone unless it's shradha. He should not increase expectations from him, since he won't be able to deliver

First of all this is not a PR article. Shahid's original interview is from hindustan times. the exact statement :

"Somehow, by default, in most actors' careers over the years they are remembered by the love stories that they have done. They (love) break the barrier of time and audiences keep going back to them. I have been a part of a couple [of such films] and I hope my next film, Padmavati also falls into that category. It definitely has the makings of being something like that,

PV twisted this and made a headline and other media houses are copying the same.

About Shahid and Ranveer, I am sure both have equally interesting roles and will give their best to the film. Ranveer was given the option to choose he wanted to do something different and opted for the role of Khilji, its gonna be great he is a wonderful actor and I m sure Khilji is gonna be one of his best portrayals ever,

As for shahid playing ratan, he is gonna be great too and his chemistry with deepika will be central to the plot, it has to connect with the audience only then will audience be invested in the story , Khilji;s character will have more impact only then.

RS-DP-Shahid are all great performers and Im sure they l be at their best here.

The size of the role does not matter at all, PC did well as Kashi where she was there only for less screen time and Deepika as Tara in Tamasha, it was all about Ved but Tara is whom people loved and connected with. Even Ranveer in Finding fanny for mere seconds roles got a loot of praise from veterans like Pankaj kapoor and Nasseeruddin shah😊

Each character will get their space to shine . I am also looking forward to watching Aditi and Jim
