Ranveer's role in 'Padmavati' being overshadowed by Shahid's?.

With the production of Sanjay Leela
Bhansali's next Padmavati' underway,
all sorts of rumours have emerged
about the stellar cast in the film.
The epic drama, which stars Ranveer
Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika
Padukone, is one of Bhansali's biggest
projects. There have been murmurs in
the industry that Singh's role as Alauddin
Khilji in the film has been overshadowed
by Kapoor's character Raja Rawal Ratan
Singh.
With Bhansali confirming earlier that
there will be no love scenes between
Singh and Padukone's characters,
Kapoor will have the upper hand as he
plays Padukone character's husband.
Does this mean Singh's role will be
eclipsed by Kapoor's?
Previously, Kapoor told Times Of India,
"Somehow, by default, in most actors'
careers over the years they are
remembered by the love stories that they
have done. They (love) break the barrier
of time and audiences keep going back
to them. I have been a part of a couple
[of such films] and I hope my next film,
Padmavati also falls into that category. It
definitely has the makings of being
something like that.
Padmavati' releases in November 2017.

I'm sure Shahid will give a better performance than Ranveer and Deepika. No way this is going to be Ranveer's Darr or Dhadkan. RS will do overacting in Padmavati like always and DP will have nothing much to do other than look beautiful just like in BM.

Shahid aur Ranveer ko overshadow? LOOL. In his dreams. Especially when he is playing a character like Ratan which is barely significant in this movie. I'm sure they won't have enough time to show much about Ratan or his achievements. Shahid has always been a good actor but that's about it. Haven't seen any improvement in him, whatsoever. Stagnant AF.
