CONFIRMED! Anushka Shetty is the leading lady for Prabhas' Saaho

A source exclusively confirmed with BollywoodLife that the Baahubali pair, Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, will star opposite each other in Saaho.

It's finally happening! We get to see Anushka Shetty and Prabhas back on screen with Saaho. While there were speculations about Anushka being cast as the leading lady opposite Prabhas in Saaho, our sources have now exclusively confirmed that the makers have roped in the Baahubali actress and the film will go on floors soon. Even though Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor were in the running to be chosen as the leading actress, for various reasons that didn't take off. But fans are going to be really happy to see these two create the same magic on the big screen yet again.

The two gave us #couplegoals in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and their chemistry was one of the most spoken about topic after the film released. After a period drama, the two will come back with this hi-fi action flick. In fact, Saaho is going to be another magnum opus with Prabhas in it after Baahubali. The buzz and expectations are sky rocketing from Prabhas after his magnificent work as Amarendra Baahubali. The makers, reportedly, have a budget of Rs 150 crore for this film. Prabhas was holidaying in the US for a while and has just returned to kick-start his shoot for Saaho. Now that he is back, the shoot will begin in full swing. Excited much? Prabhas and Anushka raised the bar after their onscreen chemistry as Amarendra and Devasena became hugely popular. The two were just perfect as Amarendra and Devasena. But the two have worked together in the past before Baahubali happened, too. But their pairing became a popular demand after the magnum opus released.

Saaho is also a highly anticipated film since the makers have specially roped in Kenny Bates to choreograph all the action sequences. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
