Hey people, I haven't written to this forum before, in fact I just finished binge watching the show a couple of days ago.
Actually my mother is a huge fan of the show, she recommended it to me and upon her insistence I gave it a try, and a few episodes later I was totally into it. I so so freakin love this show. It seems like a Millennium ago when I was actually this engrossed in a Hindi tv show.😆 Like I said in my title most of them seem like a hot mess plus theyre so damn draggy also the inconsistent characterization is a huge turn off.
BKK Is completely like a breeze of fresh air. Everything about it is so so perfect.
The story, the setting, the characterization, the cast, the chemistry not only between leads but between all the characters all seem to fit to the T.
I love how the charm of the story lies in its simplicity, we've had too many larger than life dramas and stories that we probably forget the essence of simplicity in watch. No flimsy hero or villains, no kitchen politics, no nonsensical plot twists, no characters there just for the sake of being there each of them present there has a definite purpose to solve! A plus, I heard it's a preshot and a finite drama, which means that they'll hopefully maintain the same quality in future too.
The characters are written so realistically, plus the actors playing them are doing full justice to the characters.
I love the kohli family dynamics. The ladies are so headstrong, independent and strong. Yes they have flaws, can be easily influenced and do mistakes. But they're not afraid of accepting their mistakes. The sisters love each other and are attached to each other, but don't shy away from voicing they're disappointments from each other. Of course in a family, people have fights, difference of opinions, arguments, but I love how the kohli ladies are willing to talk it out and sort it. Their relationship is so so relatable.
About the romantic relationships, I am looking forward to how each one of the them turns out to be, the conflicts, the contrasting personalities between the 3 couples I'm looking forward for how the story is played here after! Abha - Sandy, okay I'm completely invested in their story. They are probably my favorite characters after Kabir, I love mature love stories. Rhea - Nikhil, they're a long time couple, but are the compatible as married partners, I guess time will tell.
Myra - Kabir() the stereotypical yet not so stereotypical couple. ❤️I'm loving the current phase of their story. Myra's realization, her reluctance, her inner Conflicts, her (hopefully soon) acceptance and then there's Kabir () he's going all out on her and yet not crossing and respecting that line of Myra's personal space.
I effing effing love Kabir *deep deep sigh*. He's by far the best male lead of Indian tv for me. I can write an whole essay about 101 reasons why I love him but the members here I'm sure articulate those things about him better than me!! *Please drama gods, let that one character never be tarnished throughout the series *😆
I have much more to say about the show and the characters itself but I guess the post is already too long. Hopefully can add more of my thoughts in discussions with you guys!!! 🤗
P. S- Sorry for the long read guys!

Welcome to the BKK family. And a bigger welcome to this almost dead forum that is finally starting to get a little lively. Hope you'll be active here.😃

Completely agree with each & every word. Lovely post! They feel real, & look real. The cast has the most amazing chemistry I've seen in a long time. It's almost like I'm peeking into their lives. Their struggles, their love for each other is all too relatable. Each episode has only gotten better & better.
Myra & Kabir have all the makings of a fun couple. Kabhi pyaar kabhi takraar.😳
Abha & Sandy are a very sorted, mature couple who'll grow old together being the best companions.
Rhea & Nikhil are the kind of couple I see as those that can't live with each other, & can't live without each other either. It gonna be a tough ride for them.
Special mention to Shekhawat & Mrs Kohli.. they are too cute too. Regardless of whether they end up together or not, I'm rooting for them.

Akshay is an MCP but I don't hate him. He is not a villain, or a bad guy. He has his good points.

All in all, this is one beautiful show that deserves more love, & more appreciation. Do help in spreading the word!
I am Samridhi btw. And you?

Welcome to the forum. This one's indeed breezy, fresh & real. The characters, the lovely BG scores, the good-looking cast, its simplicity. The best has to be the balance it strikes in keeping it real, yet funny. The acting is natural rather than loud & dramatic. There is so much to appreciate. I'll be sad when this ends.

Keep posting!

Hey Samridhi, I'm naina. 😃
I love how you've worded everything thing I probably would've added to my post had I not forgotten many of the points I intended to get across.!
Thanks for mentioning about Akshay, I forgot to mention about him. He's a character atleast I am, more irritated with rather than being angry or so. Like he too, though as much as people dislike him is a character with traits that can easily be found in men around us. He's not actually a bad person or so, he's more like a chauvinist I've tried to give his character a chance quite a few times, but each time he does something stupid That I start getting irritated by his character. But I guess that's the purpose of his character.
The show is slowly but steadily picking up, garnering the deserved attention and interest from people. I agree it's rare that such shows are made on Indian TV, and so should so not go unnoticed by people! 😊
Looking forward for having more discussions about the show!! 😊

Thank you.
I so agree about the bold part. Even though finite series have some great pros, we can't seem to enjoy it for a longer duration like other shows! 😆
But I guess it's always quality over quantity (for me at least 😆)

Welcome to the forum. Lovely post!!
Loved today's episode especially the conversation between Abha, Myra and Kabir as why can't Abha move ahead in life. A failure in marriage doesn't really matter to hold the guilt for entire life inspite of having no fault. Why a widow, divorcee cant resettle in life, strange such evil customs are still prevalent in our society giving them a third grade treatment. So introspective and moving !!
