Ha ha nice post. Nothing makes sense any more. One day Samay-maya are into flying kiss next day they are into killing each other. I guess they are making a fool of us.
If their effort is to show Samay as a bigger badass than maya and therefore maya is a damsel in distress saved by Arjun and redeemed then stupid us for watching this crap. To me I see no difference between Samay and maya they are one and the same. Actually they deserve each other 😆, a match made in heaven.

When you compare ArYa and SaMaya, a dialogue of Maya from S1 comes to mind- her mother asks whether Arjun loves her and she replies "how does it matter".

That's not too unlike what SaMaya- it doesn't matter what Maya feels about Samay.

The only difference between ArYa and SaMaya is Arjun (somewhat) reciprocating her love (out of a sense of nobility, dutifulness and lifestyle debt, whatever be the reason). If Arjun didn't claim to love her, ArYa wouldn't be too dissimilar to SaMaya. Maya would do whatever it took to make Arjun hers.

Of course SaMaya looks worse because the controller is a man here.

We've all complained about Maya's all knowing, all winning nature, so it does feel odd to see her on the back foot for a change.

@bold: Last night's episode had many such dialogues from Samay which Maya had, at one point of her life, uttered them for Arjun.

"Utni saasein logi jitni saasein main tumhe lene dunga."

"Woh junoon mujhse shuru hota hai aur mujhpar he khatam hota hai."

"Tumne abhi tak mere pyar ki hadh dekhi he kaha hai, maya."

"Tumhare aur mere pyar ke beech mein teesra koi nai aa sakta."

These dialogues were said by Samay/Rajeev yesterday. Maya also have a similar thought process for Arjun. But when Maya does it, it's love😳 and when Samay mentions it, it's lust🤢. For me, it has always been creepy, no matter who says it. @Red: very true!
