Yesterday I was very moved by the moment between Kabir and Myra. I thought they both acted very well and conveyed a lot of emotion very subtly.

I think so far Myra had always said that she didn't love him, but yesterday she said that he didn't love her, that he wanted to be with her because of his zid and ego. And that hurt him. How badly must she think of him to say that? Till then, he'd been playfully going along with her, but the look in his eyes and his very way of standing changed as she went on. And I loved what he said about her comparing his love for her and Akshay's love for her.

Yesterday I felt so bad for Kabir. And this is how we hurt people in relationships. Not (only) by the big stuff, but by small things that we say that seem casual but come across as incredibly hurtful. When we assess the people in our lives as selfish or in other harsh ways, we not only make them feel bad but paradoxically give them much less to live up to.

Also, Kabir is incredibly mature to have just walked away. If it were a normal show, it would have been accompanied with strong music and the hero forcefully making the point that he was hurt. This sort of makes you realise how violent the other 'normal' is.

I too for a moment was thinking now this guy will pin her to the wall and forcefully make her understand that he does really love her, my bad, I forgot I was watching BKK and what we actually do in our real life is shown here. If our dear ones accuse us of such things, we don't really do OTT drama, we just feel hurt but still try to explain our stance. This is what Kabir did. I just love this show.

That is another thing I love about Kabir & MyBir's relationship. Even though Kabir is the patient one who usually gives more, he does not let Myra step over him & his pride. He sets boundaries by walking away silently, leaving her to reflect, & letting her know that she crossed the line. He did the same when Myra insulted him in front of the family previously. And he allows Myra to do the same with him. Speaking of Kabir walking away, I loved the parallel. Previously when he walked away, both of them hurt each other & were angry. This time, both of them were sad & were thinking about each other, rather than their pride. They've progressed so much. The more I watch them, the more I realise how they complement each other beautifully & make up for each other's flaws. ❤️

Thank heavens for small mercies. It had all the setup for a pin to the wall, arm twisting scene.

The way I saw it, it was Myra's last ditch attempt to put him off. She is aware that he truly loves her. The next scene with the lone tear pretty much confirmed that. A kind that you want to reach out give a hug, particularly Myra.

That tear bit was so nicely picturised. Myra looked so pretty & vulnerable. I wanted to give her a hug too.
And the entire sequence was so romantic in such a soft & subtle way. I really love the presentation of their romance. And the song choice.. never heard the song before but BKK picks the most apt songs.

Word. I felt horrible for Kabir. I wanted to give him a hug too. Despite doing so much, poor guy hardly gets a word of appreciation from Myra. I need the patience pill he's on. This time, she went too far by belittling his feelings just to reject him. She takes him & his patience for granted. I am glad he walked away. But it lasted for too short. I really want to see her running behind him like last time.

I agree. I would have liked him ignoring her a little more. I believe a little bit of pressure is needed for Myra to give in but beyond a point which Kabir is doing IMO, is only causing her to run further. He should give her her space & wait for her to come to him. If she doesn't, then he should give up.

I agree. Its time for Kabir to step back a bit... it comes across as a bit overbearing. Myra is already questioning her decision.

Sam, ditto on the presentation of their romance. It is subtle and peppered with conversations. So real. The second trip-fall-catch was out of the blue though, and SO not BKK. It was also pretty evident that the actors were finding it amusing too.

Agree. I love that they communicate like so much. And their conversations are very real. Their conversation on horror movies remains one of my favourites.❤️

I found that catch & fall random too. I wonder if its because of the change in direction. (remember reading an article in early days about a different director from the 80th episode or so)

I remember that article too. It could be due to the change in direction. The current episodes were shot after the show went on air. The touching of hands across the glass pane (Kabir's imagination) was a part of behind-the-scenes somewhere.

They have still managed to retain the essence, though.
