Abhishek Kapoor's script is WONDERFUL: Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput is one of the busiest star-actors around. He is having several films lined up. Bollywood Hungamas Faridoon Shahryar (Content Head- Broadband) recently met up with him and asked him about his much talked about film with Abhishek Kapoor, that is rumoredly the launch pad of Saif Ali Khans daughter Sara Ali Khan. Sushant Singh Rajput also spoke about his other forthcoming films, why he's creating a platform for budding writers and can we see him direct a film soon? Find out!

Let's talk about your forthcoming films. You are apparently doing a film with Sara Ali Khan which is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Dharma Productions.

I don't know to be very honest. Till the time everything is signed, I don't know. I don't know if I am in for the film. So, how can I comment about others? I have read the script and it's a wonderful script. And, I have been looking for opportunities to work with Abhishek again. Because, I really miss working with him. I can't tell how much. I really want to do the film. I still have to sign the film.

What are the other films that you're doing?

I am almost done shooting for Drive. After that, it is the space movie Chanda Mama Door Ke. And then, there is a film with Abhishek Chaubey. And there is RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter). I have to get them finished by next year.

Has Takadum with Parineeti Chopra been delayed?

It has been delayed because the structure of the script has to be changed. Until and unless we have something very concrete, we can't say anything.

You are also doing something for the writers, where they can post about their ideas etc?

We are trying to create a platform, because, this is something that I noticed in the last two three years. There are many good directors waiting because actors don't have dates. We still have to improve a lot on our acting skills. Including me. Because, there are lots of talented people waiting even in theatre. There are extremely good actors in theatre and I have never seen them. Not even on TV. I just want to bridge the gap between them, so that possible investors and directors can make their film. We are still structuring it. But that's the idea of it. The name we haven't thought of. It can be called Ignored Decibels'. But we haven't decided.

Do you want to direct at some point?

I like telling stories. I am very keen on everything that has to do with films. I was reading a book which said next 20 years will be more revolutionary than last 200 years. So, let's see. I am excited.
