My Point Of View

Judging by the lack of activity on this forum you'd think nobody watches this show but well... I do. There might be others out there, so maybe to encourage them to come out of the woodworks or just maybe to make myself happy I am opening this thread and am gonna come online and give my opinion of what I particularly loved or hated about a particular episode. Feel free to join me.

Gotta say the actress who plays Ragini is wonderful. She makes me laugh so much. Her face is so expressive and today she just nailed everything.
Looks like in spite of herself the first person to fall in love might just turn out to be Shristri. As childlike as he is, Vishu might turn out to be more of a man than Shristri bargained for. He seems to be constantly surprising her and not in a bad way.

Unfortunately have been really busy for the past few days and haven't been able to catch a single episode of the show. Isn't there someone else who can at least share their points of view as to the goings on in the show?

Thx Bea 1 for starting this thread. I m new to this forum and while browsing around was surprised to see no activity for this serial. It is one of my favourites along with badho bahu.

I don't watch the serial much. one in a while.

The more I watch this show the more I am enjoying it. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. For those who like the Adarsh Bahu, supposedly educated and superior at everything you have Shristi. For those, like me, who are sick and tired of Adarsh Bahus and their perfections and crave something a little different we have the lovely Ragini. More Bindass Bahu than Adarsh.
The awful, greedy mother in law is there and it will be interesting to see how both Shristi and now Ragini without her moneybags win her over.
The comedy factor is there, courtesy of Dulari and her new paramour Narad. To be honest I haven't enjoyed the way too overdone concept of the fall and catch as much as I am with these two executing it.
We even had the forced/ swap marriage all too common in serials and so there is a potential for two very different love stories developing.
All the characters are really interesting in their own way and there is scope for development for each and every character. The show feels more like a show of an ensemble cast than one with just one male lead and just one female lead.
Anyway, so far so good.

I don't know if it's just me but I am finding it difficult to warm up to Anurag. I always put myself in the shoes of the female lead and I like my male leads to be larger than life and totally wow me. Mind, I am not knocking Ankit. He is very good looking. My problem is in the characterisation of Anurag. I don't know if the problem is CVs have failed to sketch him out properly so that he comes across as a total knockout or it's Ankit who is failing to portray him as a total knockout. Maybe I am biased because I really like Ragini and don't like the way he is treating her. I don't know. Anyway I am finding myself liking Parag of all people. Seriously, if he were to get a haircut more 21st century and incinerate his entire current wardrobe for a better one I could find myself fangirling him than the supposed male lead.

The serial is going "taming of the shrew " direction. CVs love showing extreme behaviours for dramatic effect. on the other hand srishti- Vishnu story reminds me of Hema Malini & jitendra starrer JYOTHI. Hope Vishu continues with his projects.

Yeah I concede that Ragini needs a little bit of refining or taming if not a lot but I really hope they don't change her too much. I kinda enjoy that she is absolutely fearless and doesn't meekly bow her head down to anyone. It's truly refreshing.

Just want to see if her sasu maa will still love her after the money form her house stops coming in!

So, is the cake the one she baked or not????? Hmmm. I am inclined to think so because I don't think she would risk missing out out on the opportunity to go to Patna with her Mister.
