The cast of Baahubali was perfect and I can't imagine anyone else playing these character with such finesse 😊

Oh idk, I remember reading about the Sonam & Sridevi ones before, so i guess some of the rumours were true. I know Sonam had been wanting to play a warrior or adventuress in an indian epic movie for a while now. Some of us were sceptical because the telugu movies do have a problematic depiction of women, but still we were hopeful & somewhat bummed it did not happen.

If this is true, now we know why she opted out of it. After the Mausam disaster, no way she would block years like that again any time soon. & the Baahubali cast was great as is. Of course it could have been her golden ticket into the international markets she is eyeing now but also, it would mean no Neerja!! Anyway in hindsight, it was just not meant to happen.

I was angry about the Sridevi news before the 1st Baahubali came out though, & iam still angry about it now lol. 😆 Why oh why Sridevi😭
