We can already see how her idea of good parenting is not any less than the toxic love she understands and her toxic methods. She said her child will know that as long as he has his mother bu him, no one can harm him irrespective of whether the child is right or wrong. Jab tak uske maa uske saath hogi, uski taraf koi buri nazar utha ke nahi dekh sakta chahe phir woh sahi ho ya galat, usse apni ma mein puri duniya milege. Crystal clear to understand, imo. Leave aside the genetic baggage, the child will not receive good parenting at all since that's her approach. Also, I completely agree with you, she's just pretending. Had she been genuine in her promises to Arjun and was willing to actually change, she wouldn't have had messaged Samay. Point is, it's not in her to change anymore...she can't, she won't. She's truly gone beyond and further.

When Maya value herself,when she thinks she doesn't need anyone to hold on to lead a life,things will change for better..i hope when Arjun leaves her for real,she will be heartbroken but she will change for better the way she ctrlled herself by thinking Arjun words and touching her belly shows she wanted to change..I jux hope,her baby will give that hope...

Now, with Prem's death, Arjun & Saanjh are back to square one, much to the annoyance of Maya! Grief will provide an opportunity to come together! Who knows Arjun may even stand in & do the duties of her departed Dad with Shaadhi around the corner! Samay's truth will get exposed only later, perhaps on Shaadhi day!
Whatever it is, Maya has no chance to sleep peacefully as Saanjh is not likely to go away from their life! Matters are only bound to complicate from here!

With blood on hand, Samay will take Maya once again on downhill! If she refuses one psycho will kill other! Any hopes for turning good is unlikely with Samay hanging around!

Maya-Samay partnership & Arjun-Saanjh friendship will stay as they are!
Giving no chance to change, assuming Maya's intentions are genuine & she is not playing yet another drama with Arjun!

If Maya takes one step forward, then her destiny pushes her two steps back!

What if Maya too has Prem's blood on her hands?
Then no hope of any redemption! She has no resolve to come out of this unpleasant phase of her life as she herself has now chosen to sink deeper & deeper in crimes!

though if maya really wants to change, its not like it will happen all at once...it will take time

if psychos start redeeming in a matter of seconds, it is a miracle in the world of medical science

yes Arjun Maya separation will happen, almost a certain.. and I have a feeling it will be because of Samay.. either he will get to know of his role in the frameup or Samay will blackmail Maya to leave Arjun..though the later seems far fetched considering Maya does everything only to be with Arjun..

I think Arjun might find that mail at some point or might learn the truth in some other way

I don't think that CVs will show that Arjun was aware that Maya framed Ayaan and still he went and misbehaved with Ayaan and went to the extent of calling him sautela and telling Saanjh that he will not let him out of jail.

If he knew then he wouldn't have been so rude with Ayaan.

It just doesn't make sense to me that he will let his own brother suffer for a crime he did not commit...it will make his character worse and the way he loved and cared for Ayaan I don't think he will let his brother rot in jail if he knew that he was innocent.

Even if there is a 1% chance that he did then we haven't seen any monologue from his end which suggests that he is in immense guilt for punishing Ayaan of a crime he did not commit.

The confidence with which he supports Maya and stands up against Saanjh indicates that he genuinely trusts Maya in the case.

I also think he hasn't seen the mail yet.

I think that Ayaan's revelation and might be Samay's too will drive him away from Maya.

Arjun needs to feel immense guilt for not trusting his family and this guilt will drive him away from Maya.

Sorry guys .. I read your replies but didn't find time to respond.. finally phew!

anshvi- you could be right.. there has to be a strong reason for Arjun to leave Maya, especially now when she's pregnant..

annihilation- I understand your frustration.. I was fine till the point she said she doesn't care how many people die.. You know it takes a few episodes for the creatives to turn everything on its head and brush things under the carpet.. hope that doesn't happen...But I suggest we keep our expectations bare minimum.

sunithi- that's what I was hoping.. but Maya has in a way, Prem's blood on her hands.. she could be more discreet with her message and then saying saying she doesn't care how many people die.. a person who has promised to change for good, shouldn't say that..

Fernandes43- I don't know if Maya is genuine or serious about her promise to Arjun.. she could be more specific as to what Samay should do regarding the video.. even if I assume she didn't mean Samay to kill Prem, why should she be so insensitive about death..its like body count for her.. numbers don't matter as long as Arjun doesn't leave her.. agree with your predictions..

There's a difference btw changing for love n pretending to change. Maya's past will never let her change even if she wants to. I would have liked to see a Maya repenting n trying to change for her hubby n child but her karma hitting her and finally her penance. But I was totally disappointed as Maya just wants to be a "good girl" before Arjun, not in reality.

Actually I thought Maya's insecurities make her go towards darkness. But after Arjun supporting her n forgiving her for most of the things, she could have told him abt Ayan trap case n Arjun would have supported her as she's ill n pregnant and it was her "past" . Arjun would have gone for some out of court agreement with Ayan then. At least Ayan would have been out n Prem's life would have been spared.

But she promised Arjun not the go on wrong track n right after that she messaged Samay.

I always thought no matter what crimes she has done, she's kind of loyal towards Arjun. She just needs security/assurance from him. But now she has it (Arjun's argument with Saanjh shows that) yet she went towards darkness, so all her excuses of Arjun leaving her n going to Saanjh become irrelevant here.

I will say Maya this time is not fully guilty, just like Ayaan just did manhandling but she projected it as rape, but this time the murder will go on her head. Samay will bring out her secrets.

THIS! I couldn't have put it better myself.. Maya is making it hard for us, even people like myself who have seen things from her perspective in the past, very difficult to empathize with her anymore.. I totally felt for her towards the end of season 1 right after the wedding.. I thought that time she was the most genuine she has ever been.. that was the time she wanted to change and made genuine efforts to do so.. I was pissed with Vandana, Arjun and even Saanjh for what happened during and around the holi time.. I could somewhat understand her fear psychosis and insecurity even during the beginning of S2.. not anymore.. she has everything she wanted.. she has Arjun, she has his baby... and if being a mother is not a motivation enough to change, I don't know what can be.. I watch the show for Maya/Jen but the character is not what I can root for anymore..
