i have to agree purva, it is sad but the people seem to vote for thier favourite jodi off screen (the more recent the romance, the more people are enamoured) more than stage performance. amit neeru did real bad in first round and apu-shilpa(sorry jjkn fans) : manini- mihir were no better than rohit-manasi. however rohit-manasi got voted out. i think this couple had a lot of potential.anyways this is not the first time it has happened. same thing happened on american idol, indian idol, fame gurukul, bollywood sitare ki khoj(where satish kaushik specifically mentioned this) and a number of other reality shows where public vote was cast not on performances but the hot looks,cuteness factor, simplicity, romance factor (when team is couple) or popularity factors.
