Pinky's plan is really disturbing she is playing with the fabric of her identity. She worked really hard to be someone she could be proud of despite what society said and she doesn't want to get dragged down, which is completely understandable. Pinky is emotionally torturing them both by playing at their weaknesses. Like you said she is a bahu accepted or not so she will forgive her and Shivaay as her son will do the same. The writers have a way of completely overlooking bad behavior, but the audience never forgets 😆 Shivaay was forgiven by the family after one episode for the whole forced marriage.
It's more an issue with the writing than the character. Even though her reactions make sense she comes off looking like a hypocrite. When Shivaay mentioned she couldn't possibly share the same blood as NT she was offended because he brought up blood ties, but she doesn't want to NT's blood running through her veins either. Why doesn't she want to be related to her? Because of her character and her class.
She is correcting her vocabulary and is flippant about expensive watches. No one gave her chance to prove her innocence or believed her about Tia. How many times was she publicly berated by them. She wasn't a thieving bar dancer like NT and was respectful even saved them on occasions, but that didn't matter. Why? Because of her social class. Maybe the writers are getting her to walk a mile in his shoes or this all a TRP stunt.
I get this her nightmare scenario and I have no issues with her stepping up, but she could have just kicked her out. Honestly, she gave Daksh and Tia more respect 😆
