Apologies for being late today, got caught up in work. But the episode was entertaining.


Life is full of surprises, even the people we meet or live with. The element of something new keeps life interesting. And there are times when we ask help from the people nearest to us, yet we don't recognize them.
Kanak asks for help in Malay from a random guy on the beach, little did she know how appearances are deceiving. - the impressions and assumptions we have of someone influence all the other characteristics.
It's her husband standing in South Indian clothes - mind I say HE LOOKED HOT, this guy is a charmer... it was a pleasant change from the deep neck kurtas.
US sings a song for Kanak, it started in Malay and the Hindi theme song took over. He gifts her flowers, a coconut and a wrapped present. -- it was an absolute shock for me too, for this was unexpected and it was super cute. Kanak is impressed but dare she accepts it while the raavan holds her Bhabho's shop. She confronts him that she didn't know he knew Malay, and he is full of surprises. US replies that he is to share his whole life with her. Their knowing of Malay language is a sanket that their story has certain meaning. US is ready to put the world on platter for her, he asks whatever she desires would be given, Kanak asks for water, having a self thought that she can't ask for the shop papers. -- the whole scene was amazingly executed, he was a Romeo and Kanak was clueless on how to react. But it was sweet.

US goes off to get water, and Kanak finds a mobile to call from.. she calls arvind--- finally a guy has a face, not an imaginary character, should I add that he is good looking too. They talk about the papers, he suggests talking to Ved as he is IPS but Kanak says tell nobody. It's her secret mission. -- this good looking friend can create certain amount of drama in an already souped up US family.
Palomi the great jagaa jasoos had come to spy and overhears some word of Kanak and she reports to US directly that Kanak was talking to someone. Kanak denies.. US asks her again, in which Palomi jumps to says she is a liar... US very firmly stops her in between that HE is talking to his wife. He even suggests a way that Kanak can use to prove her innocence. The shoreline is full of crabs and people get bitten by them, he asks Kanak to step in and if she is right, she won't be hurt. Kanak thinks about her journey for the shop papers and walks to the water. ---- I mean the satya vachan crabs will decide the truthfulness of Kanak. And I had heard of agni preeekisha for women, but this crab pareeksha is a new thing. How stupid is this pareeksha, one moment you are ready to give the world to her, next moment you ask her for side of story and then you ask for crab pareeksha. Who are you US?? Sometimes you are simple than a jalebi and sometimes difficult like kheer (rice pudding).

Precap- US picks up Kanak in the water, they are drenched and he walks out. Palomi looks on.

P.S- massi trusts Palomi, because she dare not refuse massi. Although she did initially but then her own jealous self took over and she ran off to spy on Kanak. Massi takes Kanak as a threat as this quite aptly describes " a woman is dangerous when she armed with beauty and humor, as she becomes irresistibly addictive" Massi is concerned because US is addicted to Kanak.

I like the friend Arvind...but his introduction might bring trouble for Kanak. Not that she isn't in trouble already.

Should I raise more hue and cry for the satya vachaan crabbies? 😳

- There are local legends in different areas of the world including many forms of "truth tests". I have been places where if you are not telling the truth about something then your hand will get caught in the rocks! It is mostly about "blind faith". US has a bad case of leaving it to god instead of coming to judgments of his own. It's not that he is lacking faith - he is leaving it to faith! Don't know if I explained that or not. US ki faith is Kanak ki "test"... two ways of looking at the samething. We can likewise say Ram knew that Sita would pass fire. So, why women have to suffer agniparkisha? Cuz he has faith, but she has to prove to world not him and he has faith that she can. Here I don't know if it is about woman & man here or plain truth. He wants her to prove Palomi wrong and prove his faith right? There is also a subtle difference between having faith and being gullible. Some doubt has to be there till trust is developed. Not sure I make sense... US ki tarah my thoughs are convoluted today.

- Echo Effect: Vansh & Meena ki "eedia" will become US ki future reality given the echo effect used for that dialogue.

- The Truth is Relative - We tend to think of the truth as black or white...0 or 1. It's not. It's relative to where the individual is coming from. Kanak truthfully thinks she has done nothing wrong. But, obviously Palomi heard that Kanak is here for a reason.

- Selective hearing - did Palomi not hear where kanak & Arvind were meeting? If she didn't hear then then why not? If she did hear then will she use the information?

- Palomi didn't want to become Maasi's puppet, but will become gray in her efforts to protect US from Kanak's plotting.

1) US was in full mood today. He is love struck, and Enrique's song "maybe I am addicted I am out of control" was runnng through my mind while watching. He is a complete surprise package. US has multiple personalities 😆

2) Palomi is a snake that is waiting for the right time to strike. And in the mean while she is proving to be kabab mey haddi, as now massi has given her legit permission she will intervene more. But US shows her, her place quite clearly.
All these lies are going to held on head.. who would believe her later when she says the truth. Will anyone understand her stance - one lie makes all your truths questionable.

3) US bhai ki crabbies k sath bhi setting hai. Crabs ko bhi paravachan de de kar bite karne par majboor kar dia hai US ne 😆 It's outright stupid anyway. Just an excuse for Kanak to slip so that US can pick her up.

I am wondering the same thing, how will things work out after such pretenses and lies.

@anjana - hey there, thank you for reading and commenting.
You have got some spot on observations/pointers.

1) I think theme song, was sung in Malay two lines and then main sooraj was continued in Hindi.

2) well yes there are different traditions/beliefs of truths test in different parts of the work. And yes, it's as you called it 'blind faith', leaving the decision to nature/faith for the appropriate results.
But this crab test coming from US is a very weird, as per dharm it had to be agnipareeksha, but he gave it his own twist, the crabs won't bite. from the looks of it, Kanak ki test is his test'.. as everyone is conveniently saying Uma ki pasand, and now he has to prove his pasand.

3) eedia gave me ideas tooo.

4) well technically there is no such thing as black and white. Truth is always the other side of the picture as per individual experience, where as black is just black, it's existence is everything we don't know.
Grey is the one word for it, truth and lies adulterated together to form it. --- hope I am making sense here.

5) Whatever Palomi heard she told US, because she had caught Kanak red handed. Is talking on phone a freaking crime. Agree with selective hearing thing. Maybe the point of meeting might be used to fuel riot between US and Kanak.

6) Palomi considers US God. I don't understand how does God need protection... how a mere mortal like her going to protect God. -- do I make sense.
It's like her favorite thing in the whole wide world was taken from her, and she just looks on like a jealous kid. And she might want him for self soon. Because the way she is hurt when US snubs her is devastating to her.
