Arus mom is root cause of all things

As a Mom I find it disgusting the way Aru's Mom has behaved...I would never ever sacrifice my daughters ...even if family name was at stake...I care more for my daughters happiness than a name attached to them.

Sadly it is not as uncommon for parents from our subcontinent to sacrifice their child's wishes especially in case of marriage to retain family name or honour.

Just open newspaper. A lot of things are done in the name of "Log kya kahenge" some are overt while some are covert but they do happen.

The pressures are different but in the end our society think it is acceptable that parents can choose a life partner for their kids (and sometimes by going against their explicit wishes), this is a similar situation. Just with a masala twist for the sake of story. But how is this different where parents refuse their children to make a choice of life partner.

The hell with "Log Kaya Kahege".. nor one needs to justify anything to these "Log"...Hopefully this mentality will change.. Women power..we have come a long way...
I am sorry.. but I believe in Women who have the ability to stand for themselves, be strong, and someone who dont play victim and dont make themselves look pitiful.. Maybe that is why I am the way I am .. and will do the best for my daughter..
