Part 1

Nandhini POV:

I am Nandhini...

Nandhini Nand...

Only daughter of Nand & Avantika...

Only heir of Nand Fashion designers...

We are world famous fashion designers...

Leading fashion designers in India...

We do take orders across the world...

Order is of course not for one or two...

Its all bulk orders for events, marriages, celebrations...

We are meant for timely delivery of the orders, perfection in the work, Quality in the work...

I used to go with my Dad in my school days itself in my holidays to company & see all the work...

Yes.. i got so much of interest in this industry...

To add gem to the crown i did my graduation on Fashion designing...

Then went to various countries and did short term courses to get idea about their fashions...

I just return last week completing my studies...

'Nandhini... now you are going to take care of our company...' my father said...

'Oh Dad... i will of course... i dont deny.. but its you who will take care & i will come to office to help you...' i clarified...

'No dear... i wish you handle it and i am sure you can very well...' my father insisted...

'Dad!!!!' i looked at him wondering why he is adamant...

'Nandhini... i am tired Nandhini taking care of everything.. now i think its time for me to take rest... i am going to our estate in Simla with your mother for sometime... I really need it...' my father expressed...

'Dad... if you wish for it... i am not going to hold you.. please go ahead.. i cant hold my parents from taking rest...' i said...

My parents started the very same day to our estate...

I know my Dad wanted me to take care...

This rest is some reason he is faking so that i will take care of biz...

Otherwise if he is here.. i wont let him to be at home and take care of myself...

Now i wont disturb him when he really wanted to take rest...

On other way.. he requires that rest...

He has been working since small age and faced so many ups & downs in the companies...

He handled every situation successfully and bring the company to this level...

Now its my turn to handle it... That too successful...

I smiled looking at the mirror...

Yes.. there is a social gathering today for which i am getting ready...

Its just a casual meeting to bring the people together which can help to develop the company making more biz associations with others...

This is my first gathering i am going to attend...

I checked for the dress code in the invitation...

Though its more or less a party... being its biz meet.. the dress code is formal suit...

I went to wardrobe looking at my collection of suits...

I took out the dark blue one from the collection...

I comb my hair and left it open...

Then changed to that suit...

I put my dark blue colour pencil heal matching to my suit...

I am all ready now...

I looked at the mirror...

'Perfect...' i expressed looking at the mirror...

I took my small handbag with required things inside it...

I started from my room and marched towards my car...

I informed cook already there will be no need to cook for me tonight...

I get into the car and started driving towards the venue...

I prefer self driving...

Instead of sitting idle looking at someone driving for us is just boring...

But yes i prefer when i need to work in laptop or something when i travel...

I find such situations very rare...

After driving right side in abroad for years.. now its really difficult to switch to left side drive in India...

And also driving with no discipline is another problem...

Yes.. they wont go in their own lane.. instead just get into our lane unexpected and we result in accident due to their mistake...

Also speed levels...

After driving in lane with their speed... its difficult to go in the same lane where all speed category comes...

Some one crosses with great speed as if going to get us into accident or someone will go in the front in tortoise speed blocking our way...

Traffic.. Pollution...

After crossing those horrible packed road.. i am finally on the door of the venue...

I checked the time & glad that i am not running out of time...

I looked for parking and parked my car in a convenient place...

I got down from the car taking my bag...

I marched into the venue and looked around...

So many where already gathered in the hall...

There were so many round tables arranged for us to sit and enjoy the party...

As such i am new to them...

I just went to a table which was just waiting for someone to occupy it...

I sat in the dining chair conveniently and looked around...

Finally i am here and the party is yet to start...

I was served with fruit juice...

I took Orange juice and started sipping slowly looking around...

Nandhini POV:

I was sipping my juice while my secretary came...

'Sorry to be late...' Rakesh apologised...

'Its ok... ' i accepted his apology...

I dont know why i feel like someone is gazing at me...

I am feeling little restless and strange feeling inside...

I looked around in the hall & can find maximum tables are filled with people and all were busy talking with each other or enjoying their drinks...

I just ignore the strange feeling and continued with my juice...

'Is there any important announcement or anything going to happen in this get together or just a casual one...' i asked Rakesh...

'Mam... There may be some announcement.. but its not specified as such in the invitation...' he clarified...

'Well ok... ' i replied...

All started to have their dinner too...

I felt need some more time to start with as i just had juice...

I was sitting looking at my mobile for any new messages in the official email...

Yes.. i saw few of them and started replying...

I gave instructions about that to Rakesh as well while he noted on his notepad...

When all these were going on.. i can see someone coming near to us...

'Excuse me Mam...' he stood near us...

'Yes..' i replied...

'Our boss wish to have dinner with you...' he said...

He seems to be sent by someone in this hall...

I dont know who his boss is... but i felt irritated...

Why i should have dinner with his boss on first place...

Moreover what is he thinking in his mind... that i will go to him as if i am his servant... or PA... to go to him on his call... or something else...

I just gave irritated look towards him...

'Tell your boss that i am not interested to have dinner with anyone...' i replied with little rough tone...

'Ok mam...' he went from there...

'Who is that & what is he thinking in his mind...' i told out of irritation...

But in a while the same person came back to Nandhini...

'Mam... Our Sir told me to inform you that he is waiting for you on Table 1 in that last corner...' he informed...

When he tried to move out giving that piece of information to Nandhini...

'What is your boss thinking about him??? Dont he understand what i replied him earlier??? Is he having problem in understanding the language??? I am ok with where i am & not interested to have dinner with anyone.. did you got it... ' i just burst on him though tried to keep my volume low so that others wont hear our conversation...

'Mam... i just convey the info our boss said.. i will convey your reply too to him...' he replied politely...

I can understand he is not at fault & just doing what his boss instructed him to do...

'Also convey him that i am not his slave or PA or staff to do what he wish for... ' i concluded & sent him...

I looked at my secretary who was curious to know who is in that table 1 mentioned by the person...

'What are you searching for ???' i asked my PA...

'Mam... I am just checking who is that in that table 1...' he replied...

'Is there any need to do that... i am least bothered who is that idiot who is sending his assistant to call me to have dinner with him... as if i was craving for someone company...' i just said with a smirk...

'Mam... he seems to be Chandra... MD of Gupta group of industries... ' he expressed with his eyes widened in surprise...

'So what??? Let him be MD of any company... what bothers me...' i said...

'Mam... He is the leading exporter of garments... ' he said...

'So... what is this information is for...' i asked...

'Mam.. May be as we are from fashion deisning.. he want some biz association with us...' he expressed making me laugh...

'Biz association by calling me to his table for dinner as if i am his...' i just stopped spitting further words...

'If he is interested in our biz association.. then let him come to us giving his biz proposal.. Not by calling me to his table for dinner... did you understand...' i hissed...

'Ok Mam... i just told.. Sorry... ' he apologised...

I really dont know why i am tensed...

I came here with much relaxed mood...

Tension all started since i got the call for the dinner...

Then what.. what is he thinking in his mind about me...

Let him be even King... what bothers me...

I am Queen of my world and in my industry...

I am least bothered to have any biz association with him...

Such proud headed he is...

If he is interested to talk any biz, he can very well come to my table and do that...

What he mean by sending invitation to my table for a dinner with him...

I took the water in the glass and drink it to cool down myself...

Nandhini POV:

I was thinking whether to start having dinner and move out from here...

Some strange feeling inside...

What the feeling is all about???

I really dont know what is happening which i am experiencing for the first time...

That is when my eyes widened...

My heart beat started beating fast...

I can feel my body & face is adding its colour by itself with a cherry red shade...

OMG.. what a charming personality...

Stylish hairstyle...

Perfectly fitting suit...

King like walk with pride...

I looked at his face...

Sharp eyes giving killer look...

Sharp nose adding beauty to his handsome face...

Pinky lips which was sharing a formal smile with the people around..

What a perfect face cut...

He was walking stealing my heart...

I was gazing at him like a shameless creature...

When he was going crossing me... he slightly turn his face towards me...

Oh God.. what a killer look.. whether i should survive or dig myself inside the floor...

I down my eyelids without able to withstand that eyes looking at me...

It took a while to get me back to my senses from the tension he gave in just a look inside me...

That is when i heard that...

'Good evening everyone... Let me introduce myself though most of here knows me well & its for the new comers to this party...'

Who is that??? Is he the one talking who took all my heart on a look???

I slowly lift my eyelids to look at the direction of voice...

Yes.. its the same guy... He is going to introduce himself for new comers...

Who does he mean??? i am new as well... is it meant for me???

What madness are you thinking Nandhini.. are you the only person in this room as new comer..

Come on... you have lost your senses together with your heart...

'I am Chandra of Gupta group of Industries...' He introduced making me breathless...

I looked at my PA...

May be he understood what that look is meant for... He nod his head..

Yes.. i understood he is the one who sent invitation to join him for dinner...

'I am glad to meet you all in this wonderful evening... Taking this as opportunity... i am here to announce about a biz opportunity.. You can take it as call for the opportunity you can avail...' he said...

What opportunity he is talking about???

It that opportunity what he wanted to discuss with me calling for a dinner...

If its so he might have come to me to talk about it personally...

Then why he is making the announcement now...

By the way.. what the announcement is about???

I sharp my ears to get the details holding the racing heart towards him...

'Its order of international assignment... where i am in need of giving to almost every country... Its order of 1000s of garments... And i am looking for the designer for my garment to join hand to handle this order...' he explained...

Oh.. he is looking for the designer...

May be as my PA said he might have thought of talking about that to me...

As i denied to go for the dinner, he made the offer open to all...

So what... Is that the way to talk about order calling for dinner...

Instead he might have come to me and we might have talk...

'Whoever interested can take appointment for a discussion with my PA to meet me and further can be discussed...' he concluded...

Whatever... its open to all designer now and i need to join the race to get this order...

Am i going to try for this now???

He may be handsome.. but proud headed too...

Moreover he might have felt insulted as i denied to join him in dinner...

If i am going to approach him for this.. then i am sure he will be insulting me in return...

I am not ready to lose my self respect for this order...
