Has there been a better movie about Friendship?

Watching Dosti in Zee Classic, damn this movie is so moving, innocent and eloquent. Has there ever been a better epitome of friendship ever portrayed in Hindi cinema, before or after?? Yes there have been many great friendship stories in Dostana(old one), Sholay, 3 Idiots, munnabhai, DCH and so on, but IMHO I don't think anyone was ever as selfless, honest and heart wrenching as Dosti.Plus its music is up there with Best ever made.

I watched this film when the cable still had this channel Fida. Don't know about dosti, but the blind guy esp was such a pure soul. I was bawling my eyes out when he was being abused by the crowd and was calling out to his sister in anguish and his sister refused to recognize him as he begged for alms and she was a nurse with an eye for the doctor.
