DD has played fewer matches than anybody, so still have an outside chance of qualifying, from what I can tell.

RCB & GL are definitely out. KXIP & DD have narrow chances, but are not mathematically eliminated as yet. I posted the Cricinfo article on RCB's elimination

DA Warner*, S Dhawan, KS Williamson, MC Henriques, Yuvraj Singh, DJ Hooda, NV Ojha, B Kumar, Rashid Khan, S Kaul, Mohammed Siraj

Jayant is a bit of a Sunrisers specialist. His only game this season prior to today was also against Warner & co. The most balls he has bowled in the IPL to any batsman is 39, to David Warner, followed by 18 to Shikhar Dhawan. He hasn't been too successful, though. Warner has hit 60 off those 39 balls, and has been out once. Dhawan has only scored 17 off 18 against Jayant, but no dismissals.

Daredevils win the toss, will bowl first. Angelo Mathews and Jayant Yadav replace Sam Billings and Shahbaz Nadeem. Scott Styris forgot to ask David Warner for changes. We'll bring that to you in a bit. Sunrisers have brought in Deepak Hooda for Bipul Sharma.

If Warner bats like he did against KKR, doesn't make a difference that DD have won the toss.

The DD side is really weak on batting, now w/ Billings gone. I've rarely seen Mathews click in the IPL. Anderson should be pulled in ahead of Morris in the batting lineup - maybe @ #5.

7.00pm Evening, everyone. Daredevils have reached a point of no-return. Resistance to change - they've backed their young Indian batsmen over some seasoned hitters - seems to have resulted in the muddle. In addition, giving responsibilities of captaincy to Karun Nair, who has struggled for runs since that magnificent Test triple five months ago, in Zaheer Khan's absence has been baffling. The management has confirmed he'll continue to lead, probably for the rest of the tournament as Zaheer's return from a hamstring strain is uncertain. Time for him and the rest of the group to deliver to keep their flame burning. But it won't be easy against the defending champions, who are just a couple of wins away from the Playoffs.
