I'm going to ramble, so bear with me😊
Finally watched the episode and was thankful for the forewarning of Shamz LU so that instead of focusing on SK's obsessive/ abusive behavior, I paid more attention to Karuna and her actions, and the possible connections between the two.
A connection between Meera's fatal accident and Shaurya's family is a given, by Karuna's reaction to the portrait unveiling. Understanding that Shaurya theoretically may have been young to have been the driver, combined with what else happened tonight the idea that there actually two Khanna sons that were taken in by Karuna just popped into my head: Shaurya (the youngest) and an older child who would have been of an age to have been the driver.
First off, Karuna clearly knows the id the driver. She has paid him off with the message that there would be trouble if Shaurya were to find out that he had returned ( to the extent that she had erased the CCTV footage) but most importantly that this mystery person dare not attempt anything close to what they had done in the parking lot ( almost running Mehek over)
For some reason I suspect that Shaurya may have been a passenger in a vehicle driven by this mystery person; the aftermath which would have definitely traumatized a young boy; especially if somehow the driver blamed Shaurya as the cause of the mishap ( driver distraction or the like). This would explain the OTT to Mehek almost getting run over.
More so, an older, lets say abusive sibling who tortured his younger brother constantly and usurped anything Shaurya treasured , would definitely explain the obsessive/territorial behavior towards Mehek who now, is to Shaurya is his most treasured "possession". How often has the man affirmed that she belongs to only him. Having any and everything you owned as a child taken from you by an abusive bully would certainly lend to Shaurya's behavior now.
Likewise, I can imagine the same sibling ruining any a birthday celebration for his little bro, which would explain his terrible reaction to the impromptu b'day celebration Mehek has arranged.
I haven't read all of the theorizing on the forum, so I have no idea if this has been bandied about already, but I just can't let go that there is another sibling waiting in the wings, whose abuse molded SK into the man we are witnessing.
BTW In no way am I am attempting to justify Shaurya's actions: they are vile and the man needs serious help...but I can't help but wondering.
And darn if I am not envisioning another story😕...Maybe I'll just make a few notes😉
Anyway my ramble for the night. Although I expect to watching the show solo this week, as hubby has had enough after tonight's epi, I have to say that I'm intrigued to see what the CVs have in mind.
